When we got back to the plantation, I was so tired that I could hardly see straight.

"I've had your room made up, would you like me to take you there, love?" He asked as he picked me up bridal style, carrying me into the house.

I ended up mumbling something unintelligibly as I buried my face into his chest. Within seconds, I felt him lay me down in a large soft bed, taking my shoes off and covering me up before sitting down next to my face and putting a piece of my hair behind my ear. I looked up at him with a tired smile.

"Thank you." I muttered.

"Go to sleep, love. I'll be right next door if you need me." He said back to me before placing a soft kiss on my forehead and flashing out of the room.

I was so tired, and I tried my best to go to sleep for like half an hour, but it just wasn't happening. It was always like this in new places.

I slipped out of the bed and put a small throw blanket around my shoulders, walking out of the door and down the hallway to the next opening. The door was open just a fraction, but it was enough to see that a small light was still on inside. I opened it a little more and stepped inside.

"What's wrong, love?" I heard Klaus say and I almost jumped. His voice sounded like he had been either asleep or almost asleep. I immediately felt bad for waking him up.

"I'm sorry for waking you, I just couldn't sleep." I told him, I turned to head back to my room but I was stopped by him flashing in front of me.

I was temporarily sidetracked from my task as I stared at his sculpted body, standing in front of me in nothing more than sleep pants.

"Would you like to stay?" He asked, breaking me from my reverie.

I couldn't quite form words at that moment so I just stuck to nodding gently. I could see him smile and he held out his arm to lead me to the bed.

"No funny business, got it?" I said without as much conviction as I hoped to have had. He chuckled slightly as he helped me into the bed before laying down, himself.

"No funny business." He repeated with a laugh. Unsure if it was okay or not, I laid my head on his chest. He froze for a split second before running his fingers through my hair with a contented sigh. "Sleep now, my sweet Caroline."

I closed my eyes, listening to the sound of him breathing as he played with my hair. It was enough to have me dead asleep in minutes.

When I woke up, I immediately noticed that I had an arm draped over my middle, which was holding me firmly against a body. Then I remembered that I had come into Klaus' room last night.

Klaus Mikaelson, a cuddler. Who would have guessed? I had to admit, I had always secretly loved being the little spoon.

"Good morning, sweetheart." I heard him say from beside me as I flipped onto my back.

"Good morning." I whispered, my voice having not fully woken up just yet. "I must look awful." I said reaching up to touch my rats nest of hair.

"You look beautiful, as always." He said, running his fingers down my cheek. I blushed, not knowing how to actually respond to a comment like that.

"So what's the plan for the day?" I asked, changing the subject.

"I unfortunately have to make an appearance with the witches this morning, and Rebekah will be here at some point. While I'm with the witches, I ask that you please stay inside. I have enemies in this town who are not afraid to use you as collateral damage." He told me honestly.

"I'm not just going to sit around here, Klaus. You know me better than that. If you're going to go see the witches, then I'm going with you." I told him matter-of-factly.

"No. Absolutely not. I won't put you in harms way." He said firmly, shaking his head.

"I came down here to be with you, Klaus. And even you have to admit I would be safer by your side than in this big house, all alone. And don't even get me started on if Rebekah just happened to show up while you were gone, you might not have a house by the time you got back. I'm going with you." I said confidently, not letting up. He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. That's when I knew I had gotten through to him.

"The only way that I will allow you to go is if you stay by either my side or Elijah's the ENTIRE time. I will not risk your safety in any way, do you understand?" He asked seriously. I wanted to yell at him that I could protect myself, but I held my tongue because I knew the supernatural community down here was over my head when it came down to fighting.

"Fine." I said as I stood up, crossing my arms and letting out a huff.

"Caroline, I know that you are strong, that you can hold your own, but down here, there are people who have almost succeeded in putting me down." He told me as he stood as well.

"So you've almost died since you've been down here and you didn't even bother telling me?" I asked incredulously.

"I'm still very much alive, sweetheart. Clearly none of them succeeded." He replied smugly.

"So? You still could have mentioned it. Because you know, if you die then I do too. And I'd really rather not have you die in the first place, kay thanks." I said hotly.

"Love, these are hardly the first people who have attempted to kill me. If I recall correctly, you were once among the people on that list. I wasn't in any real danger, but you will be if you do not stay with either myself or Elijah wherever we go." He was trying to get back on topic.

"I already told you that I would and I will, okay? But don't think that other conversation is over just yet, I just need a shower right now." I told him. "I look like a completely mess!" I yelled, looking in the mirror.

"You are welcome to use my shower, if you wish." He said, chuckling at my obvious freak out over my tangled hair.

"Oh I was planning to. How am I supposed to go back to a regular shower after using a waterfall shower?" I said flashing towards the door to the bathroom. Once I was about to close the door, I looked out and winked at him. I turned on the shower and stepped in, letting the water cascade over my shoulders.

I heard the door open and felt a breeze and when I turned around, Klaus was standing right behind me in the shower. I tried my best to cover myself, but it was in vain.

"Klaus!" I yelled.

"Why cover yourself, love? It's nothing I haven't seen before, and I must say that you are just as beautiful now as you were then." He said with a smirk. I felt myself blush as I turned back around, my back toward him.

I felt his breath on my shoulder as he moved my hair to one side, kissing my neck above my artery. I moaned softly at the contact. He began to nip at my neck with his human teeth and I whimpered. Before I knew it, I had turned around and pinned him to the wall of the shower, kissing him passionately. We both knew that I wanted this just as bad as he did.

"Tell me what you want, sweetheart?" He whispered huskily in my ear.

"I've already told you once, are you going to make me say it again?" I asked as he kissed my ear.

"Tell me, Caroline, what do you want?" He repeated, slowly kissing a line down my collarbone as he did so.

"I want- ahhh- I want you." I murmured as I felt his hands roam over me. I was getting impatient at this point. "I want you now, Niklaus."

"As you wish, love." He said as he lifted me up, wrapping my legs around his waist as he plunged into me and I cried out. I had wanted this since the first time.

I know its been SOOO long since I updated this, but I found myself needing to after I rewatched 5x11, so HERE YOU GO! Please review, my darlings.
