Author's Note: So, last of the reviews for this then. Here we go.
KingPariah: You are maybe my most reviewed author. XD ive sent more reviews you way than with any other ive read. XD
Review for ch. 13 & 14
I LOVED THEM! The fights, the dialogue, the emotions, the world coming to an end...I could picture the whole thing in my head. (I have great imagination XP)
I'm curious as to how to decided on the identities of the Ancients.
Quasar is imprisoned again with revenge not far from his mind. (Sighs) why do bad guys never learn? Wait...thats wrong. Vlad and Dan have learned. Its sketchy in Dan's case, but he has potential.
The idea for the sequel has been planted and I'm 99% sure of who it is. xD
You said no cliffhangers and you gave the two biggest ones in the WHOLE story. (chuckles) you really are evil.
Well, this story is over. Feels weird. Ive never been with a story from start to finish. XP looking forward to the sequel and also any other stories you might write.
Sincerely, your self proclaimed #1 fan XD

Really? I'm honored!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I still suck terribly with the fight sequences, though. There are plenty of author's who can do way better. (I like the sword fight like scene. I'm a dork for sword fighting.)
Chronos = Time, Venus = Love (and Space), Odin = Wisdom, Zeus = Power, Isis = Magic. :D (I'm just a really big evil dork.)
:D O really? only 99% sure? What's up with that remaining 1%?
I am totally evil.
I shall try not to keep you waiting! I will give you short little one shots while you wait. :D
Wait...I have...a...a number 1 fan? First of all, don't you mean 'Phan'. :D and Secondly...HOLY CRAP I HAVE A FAN! I'm not gonna cry. Evil doers do not show weakness. :'( NOT TEARS! I JUST HAVE SOMETHING IN MY EYES!
Gonna move on now. :P
Avidreaded: please do not pair dan with dani or jazz it just seems really wrong for multiple reasons and i just don't think that a full human and a full ghost should be together.
Dear Avidreaded,
I want to let you know that you are in luck! I have no intention whatsoever to pair Dan up with Jazz! Dan is still Jazz's sister to me, and he is also part Vlad. I do agree that a full ghost and full human aren't compatible for obvious reasons. Now, this is the part that is gonna get real tricky. I plan to pair Dan up with Danielle. In fact, I've drawn like a picture with them already. Now, let me explain. Danielle is Danny's clone, and Dan is half Danny so it's like he's just dating himself. My friends considering this self-cest or masturbation. The fact that he's also part Vlad may be creepy, but it's not like people haven't paired Danny with Vlad. This is just a very sneaky way of getting around that without being insanely creepy. It's still creepy, but not insanely so. :) Love is silly, no?
Anyway guys, thanks for reading and review. Now this...this is the end of this story, but be on the lookout for the sequel called...wait, it doesn't have a title yet! Just be prepared for my stories. It should say something about a sequel in the description.
Bonus: Outtakes
"Oh man, I just hope Sam and Tucker never figure out what happened."
Clockwork stood still and Danny was unsure why. For a split second, it looked as though Clockwork hesitated before he turned around to face Danny.
"You are…not leaving," asked Clockwork though it was more of an observation than a question.
Danny folded his arms neatly over his chest.
"Um yeah. I uh, heh, don't really know how to handle this situation. I mean, being beaten by the Box Ghost…and with WITNESSES!"
Clockwork watched as Danny spoke. Danny soon began to pace back and forth, but Clockwork wasn't listening. In fact, he was surprised. Danny was NOT supposed to have stayed for this long. In fact, Clockwork hadn't even been prepared for the EXTRA questions that Danny had asked. No, all was not as it was supposed to be, but he didn't understand why.
Unable to take the sudden lack of control, Clockwork held up his staff.
"Uh Clock—"
"TIME OUT!"
The moment the words left his lips his time staff began to glow a bright sky blue color before everything around him stopped. Danny was frozen in time along with the watches, clocks and gears in his tower. The Spirit of Time placed a hand on his head and rubbed it gently.
Clockwork hovered to one of the viewing orbs and tapped it. The orb unfolded outward and he began to watch Danny's time line. He could see the flow of time, but it was not clear. Not as clear as it was supposed to be. It looked as though someone was tampering with a television antenna resulting in an unclear picture. Clockwork raised a questioning brow before moving on to Vladimir Masters AKA Vlad Plasmius's timeline. Like Danny's, Vlad's was visible, yet unclear.
"An anomaly…"
Clockwork's form shifted into his young adult form as he watched another's time stream. Danielle Masters AKA Danni Phantom, the female hybrid clone of Danny Phantom. Her timeline was the same as the two other halfas, i.e. unclear. Clockwork continued to check other timelines whether they were ghosts or humans, and came to the same conclusion. Something was altering the time streams, and Clockwork was unable to pinpoint who, what, when, where, how or why.
"I should be expecting visitor's soon…" said Clockwork as he turned his attention back to Danny. "Well, more visitors. Time in."
With a wave of his staff, time resumed.
"—work, you're scaring me."
Danny blinked once his sentence was finished. He could have sworn that Clockwork was standing a little closer and was in his baby form.
"No Clockwork, trouble always seemed to materialize right before our very eyes, especially when it was most undesirable."
Clockwork and Danny both looked towards the entrance to the tower, instantly spotting a baseball sized star. It glowed an electric blue color, and it seemed that every time the voice, which sounded slightly higher than Clockwork's spoke, the star fluxed.
Clockwork said nothing as he glanced at the small star, but he didn't have to. His facial expression gave him away. Danny looked from the star, then to Clockwork only to realize that his spirit ally was a complete wreck.
"Don't look like that, Clockwork. You knew you'd be the first one I spoke to, well, second person I'd speak to after being freed from that prison. I must say, a lot of things have changed. I'm a little disappointed though considering that I was sure everything would fall apart with my being incarcerated."
Clockwork didn't respond with words. Instead, he clenched his right fist tightly which caused his Time Scepter to appear in his hand. He gripped that tightly before pointing it at the star. His eyes remained red, but the edges of them were outlined in a blue hue.
The hue faded moments later, and Clockwork lowered his scepter. Danny, who had been silent up until this point, tried to understand what was going on. Of course he had pieced together that Clockwork's brother had been the one speaking by the way he cut into the conversation, but he was unsure if the star was actually Clockwork's brother's body or not.
"Why are you a star?" asked Danny curiously.
The star just hovered there, as though it was trying to decide if or how it was going to answer Danny. Moments later there was a chuckle then that same voice spoke.
"Because I am the most important spirit in the Ghost Zone."
Danny frowned, somewhat confused about the answer that he was given. Dan, on the other hand snorted and rolled his eyes, though no-one could see the latter.
"And I thought Tucker's puns were horrendous," replied Dan while shaking his head, though again, no-one could see him.
The star hovered higher in the air, as though in search of the individual who had spoken. Upon not seeing anything, the star floated downwards once again.
"I know that those two annoyances came to you once they realized I escaped. I also know that you saved them from my wrath. Always the bright son, aren't you?"
Danny caught on to the first joke only to realize that the current comment that the voice made was another. He and Dan both groaned. They were Space Jokes. Clockwork, on the other hand, merely frowned. Now he knew why the Observants had been apologizing. Now he knew why they had been so hesitant to tell him anything.
With Clockwork's silence, the star began to bob around slightly, as though it was expecting some sort of response from the Master of Time. Eventually Clockwork looked at his Time Staff before he began to wind the clock at the top.
"You've been interfering with the time streams."
"Who me? No. Anyway time's up CK. I'll be waiting…"
With that, the star began to swirl around in a mixture of colors before it disappeared from view. Clockwork stood there, unsure of what to make of this encounter while Danny was holding the battered Fenton Thermos in his hands. He had hid it behind his back when the star looked as though it was scouting out the area.
"CK?" asked Dan, though he and everyone in the room knew who that was.
"Yeah," asked Danny despite himself.
Clockwork snapped to attention before he closed his eyes. He held the bridge of his nose before he responded.
"It's one of my, as you call them, nicknames. C comes from the first letter in my name while the K comes from the last letter."
"Awww, pet names? This is too much," laughed Dan while Danny put the thermos back on the table.
The Half Ghost Teenager and the Master of Time ignored the Alternate Danny in place of staring at the empty doorway.
"What did he mean when he said that he'd be waiting?"
"He wishes to talk in person," mumbled the Time Spirit absently.
Danny watched as Clockwork began to pace, his legs long since replaced by its usual spectral tail. Dan, on the other hand was thinking of everything he had heard. Clockwork hadn't finished his story thanks to the interruption of his younger brother.
Danny sat quietly as he thought along the same lines of his jerky evil self. Clockwork hadn't finished his story and Danny wanted to know the rest.
"Hey uh, Clockwork? You never told us what happened…why he was locked away."
"Perhaps it was the terrible puns. Those have to be considered a crime somewhere," stated Dan loud enough to be heard.
Quasar had been floating in the spot that Clockwork had vanished in for several minutes. He couldn't believe how easily he had been tricked. Then again, Clockwork had years of practice whereas Quasar had been locked away.
"Curses, I should have taken him out the moment I realized his core wasn't in the fight."
Quasar shook his head. He knew that he was much weaker than Clockwork despite the advantages he had tried to give himself. Taking away Clockwork's scepter had been one advantage, throwing Vlad into the past had been another, and of course, the fact that Clockwork's heart wasn't in the battle was one that he had been expecting. The two brothers had been released from their restraints and given full access to all of their powers, but Quasar was still weaker. Clockwork could have easily ended the battle, but he had wanted to talk; to turn Quasar.
"Stupid move, Quasar," muttered the Space Manipulator as he held his left side.
The only reason he was still even floating was due to the regenerative properties of the Ghost Zone. He hissed as he decided to move from his spot. No doubt the Observants would be on their way. He would have to take care of them eventually, but he had more important things to worry about like the location of his new friend, the one with the extraordinary Ghostly Wail.
"He can manipulate space to a certain degree," he mused before his eyes began to glow.
"Gotcha," he stated before he vanished from his spot only to reappear outside of a floating island with a huge mountain on it.
On the side of the ghostly mountain was a small hole which no doubt led to some sort of cavern. There was no doubt in Quasar's mind that the mysterious phantom was hiding out inside of it, licking his wounds. Quasar frowned as he approached the entrance to the cavern. The other was definitely strong; stronger than Vlad by far and the Observants.
"How interesting," stated Quasar offhandedly though with every intention of gaining Dan's attention.
Seconds later two glowing red eyes emerged from the darkness, scowling at the intruder. Quasar shrugged his shoulders before he floated inside, not caring that the other's scowl grew larger. When Quasar was completely inside, he noticed the other's worn out appearance despite the darkness that surrounded them.
"Tell me, friend, would you care to join me in tracking down Clockwork?"
The question was straightforward and to the point, effectively startling Dan though his startled expression turned to a calculative one. He normally worked alone, and for good reason, but now was different. He definitely wanted to enact his revenge on Clockwork, but so did Quasar. If Dan refused to work with Quasar, then they would definitely be on opposing sides. It would be nothing more than a free-for-all or a race between himself and Quasar. Then again, there was also the chance of Quasar not wanting the competition at all and he would easily wipe him off the page. The answer was a simple one, and one that Dan was sure he wouldn't enjoy, but what other logical choice did he have?
"You tell me why you want me to join you," stated Dan.
Quasar simply nodded once before he explained himself.
"You have a very unique ability, one that I wish to exploit."
"Flattery won't help me make my decision."
Quasar chuckled before elaborating a bit.
"I plan to use that Ghostly Wail. It should prove quite effective when used correctly."
That bit caused Dan to narrow his eyes. He knew how to use his wail perfectly. Sensing Dan's anger, Quasar turned his back to him.
"You use that attack wildly when you're angry. You hadn't even noticed Clockwork escape until after you finished your attack no doubt."
"What's your point?"
"My point is that your attack works quite effectively you're angry, but you gain tunnel vision. You don't see everything that happens around you, and you can't focus clearly while using it."
"And you plan to help me do that?"
"I plan to use my powers in tune with yours. I guarantee you that your attack will never miss with my assistance."
"What's the catch?"
Quasar turned around to face Dan with a smile on his face.
"When we destroy Clockwork, I will absorb his powers and become Master of Time and Space."
"And where do I fit in?"
Quasar grinned at Dan before waving his hand in a circular motion.
"Anywhere you wish."
Dan wasn't so sure if he believed what Quasar was saying. If Quasar controlled both time and space then he could no doubt do anything he wanted. Logically there was no place for Dan; nothing for him to do as far as he could tell, but if he wanted to take one final and effective crack at Clockwork, then he would definitely have to play along.
"You've got yourself a deal."
"Welcome to the team."
Dan had been wandering through the Ghost Zone for the last two days, and it had not been fun. Well, he got to terrorize a few citizens here and there, but none of them were really worth his time. What he was supposed to do was bide his time and gather his energy, but that was no fun, and he did have time on his side, or, in this case, the Spatial Manipulator. Dan knew he couldn't be touched, and that made him take his time. It made him cocky and arrogant, and more daring than usual.
"I'm outside of time AND unaffected by it. It's like it's my birthday!"
Dan chortled to himself before he went careening wildly in the Ghost Zone. A sudden thought occurred to him that made his movements jerk though he didn't slow down.
"When would my birthday be? I suppose if I had an ounce of humanity left, it would be the day that I became me."
He smashed into islands while spinning like a cork screw. It probably would have hurt had he not been emitting small portions of energy which caused the island to give way to his assault. Dan stopped when he was on the the other side of the isle and turned around, watching as it caved in on itself.
"Oh misplaced aggression, how I've missed you terribly."
Dan looked around for something more to do, but he hadn't seen that many ghosts lately. Usually there were at least two or three floating by at all times, but the Ghost Zone was looking a little bare. He couldn't actually understand why that would be, then again perhaps word had got out about him. It had been half a day since he ran into Ember and Skulker...Maybe Clockwork was evacuating them. If that was the case, then where would they go? Dan floated in the air with his legs pretzel crossed while pondering to himself. The silence in the zone was unnatural and it probably wouldn't have bothered him had he not known why it was this quiet.
"This is stupid," he muttered with a shake of his head. "I can create portals between realms!"
Dan grinned cheekily before he slashed through the air with his hand. He could feel what felt like fabric tearing apart with his slash even though there was nothing to be seen. Once the motion was complete, however, there was a small opening in front of him. Dan was just about to make his way through it when it immediately closed.
Dan's eyes shot up, before they immediately narrowed. That hadn't happened to him since he had began to get a handle on his powers. Dan tried again, and again, but the results were the same. He knew that he wasn't doing anything wrong. He had the control and the feel plus the manipulation of his powers down. He was weak, sure, but not that weak. He could use one Ghostly Wail if he needed too, and still be able to fly away to safety.
"What gives," he snapped at the empty space in front of him.
A thin purple line then appeared in front of Dan before it spread apart revealing a portal. Dan sneered at it and waited for something to come out. When nothing appeared, however, he got wary and floated back.
"Oh don't be afraid now, my friend."
Dan growled. He was not afraid.
"You and I seem to have much in common, not to mention you seem to be tired."
"That's none of your concern," Dan snapped as he turned his back to the portal only for another one to be directly in front of him.
"I can get you what you want," stated the voice which Dan promptly ignored. Instead he charged up a blast of energy and shot it into the portal in front of him only for the same beam to come out of the portal behind him and hit him in the back.
Dan hissed as he turned around and tried his attack again, only to get the same result. Dan frowned as he realized what was happening, and stopped his attacks.
"You catch on quickly. That's no fun."
The two portals vanished from sight as Quasar appeared to Dan's left. Dan glared and watched as the Space Case circled around him. He refused to be afraid.
"Lemme guess, you want a thank you or something, right?"
Quasar continued to circle around Dan, who was more agitated by the spirit than anything.
"A thank you? Not unless it was sincere," stated Quasar snarkily before he floated to the side to avoid a blast from Dan.
"'I don't do the whole sincere schtick."
"Noted. So tell me, child, what is it, exactly, that has made my brother your enemy."
Dan raised a brow. The last time someone called him a child was before Vlad ripped his Phantom Half from his Fenton Half.
"I'm not a child," he snapped before he made a hissing noise at Quasar. He was not in the mood to be toyed with, and he knew that was what was going on.
"All of the ghosts here are, more a less, children in comparison to me. I've been around for a very long time."
Dan snorted before he placed his hands behind his head and laid back in the air.
"Whatever you say, old man."
Quasar merely floated there before he chuckled. Dan had a certain flare about him, and Quasar had to admit that he liked it.
"You're an interesting individual, and I think the two of us can do wicked things together. Of course, I do still wish to know what it is that my brother has done to you."
Dan glared at Quasar, not at all willing to share his feelings like some ditzy school girl who needed to blow off steam.
"Get bent," stated Dan as he positioned himself upright and began to float away.
Quasar, who was unfamiliar with the phrase, merely followed after Dan curiously. Dan gritted his teeth then began to pick up speed. He flew through obstacles that he figured would shield him from Quasar's view long enough to let him slip away, and he didn't stop until he was certain that Quasar was gone. When he turned to check, he felt that he was more unnerved than anything when the spirit was gone. It just didn't sit well with him.
"The hell did I do to get a stalker," Dan mumbled as he turned around and flew forward again.
As Dan flew, he felt a sudden shift in the atmosphere, and stopped. He knew that feeling. It was the same feeling that he got whenever he went through one of his personally made portals. He hissed as he tried to retreat the way he came, but it was clear that he wasn't going to escape. Dan closed one eye, and winced as he noticed Quasar floating casually before him in a room that was covered in stars and different types of clocks.
"You do realize that I am the original manipulator of space, right? My abilities are vast! You can't lose me."
"What the heck do you want? I mean, seriously! I never imagined meeting someone even more meddlesome than Clockwork. I suppose it makes sense though. The two of you are brothers after all! Meddlesome pricks."
Quasar frowned at Dan's attitude, but he found himself to be more curious than annoyed.
"Clockwork...Meddlesome?"
Dan looked up at Quasar's questioning tone, before something occurred to the deranged Phantom. Quasar had been locked away for a very long time. There was much about his dearest twin that he didn't know. The Plasmius portion of Dan's mind began formulating a scheme, and before he could think better of playing with two very powerful spirits, the words began to fall from his tongue.
"Yes, meddlesome," Dan said smoothly without missing a beat. "He erased my time line from existence but imprisoned me. Apparently he said something about me reminding him of you. I suppose I was your replacement or something."
Quasar noticeably stiffened while Dan hid his smirk behind a sneer.
"I'm nobody's replacement. You can understand why I wouldn't want to tell you something like that, right? I don't wish to have you on my back about trying to replace you."
"I don't..."
"Believe me? What if I told you that he let me in on some of his past? I've been locked away for so long that he thought that I could use something to take my mind off my imprisonment. He told me about how the two eyeballs were your keepers and how you tore Pangaea apart..."
Dan turned back to face Quasar, and he honestly wished he hadn't. Quasar looked furious, and Dan wasn't sure if that fury was directed at him or not.
"I can tell you're angry," Dan began, but Quasar merely held up his hand. His eyes were blue, and it seemed that he was staring at something.
Dan looked around, realizing that this wasn't a lair in the Ghost Zone that he was familiar with. While Quasar was distracted, Dan poked around, looking at the different clocks and star formations that lined the walls. The Danny part of him easily figured out some of the known galaxies and was even a bit excited, but it was immediately squashed by his overall personality plus the sudden stifling feeling the room was emitting.
Dan turned to the cause of the sudden change and saw that the stars on Quasar's robes had turned red. He was sure that wasn't a good thing, so he slunk away as slowly as he could. Quasar's eyes returned to normal, though the temperature in the room did not.
"Dan," stated Quasar calmly despite the anger in his eyes. Dan wiggled his fingers in an uncertain wave.
"Yes?"
"You and I are going to make an excellent team, wouldn't you agree?"
Dan was going to refuse, but the tingling in the back of his neck that his Tucker had once dubbed a 'Phantom Pheeling', told him that it was best to play along and work the situation to his advantage.
"Uh huh, wholeheartedly."
Quasar knew very well that Dan wasn't being entirely sincere, but heck, it didn't matter. Dan had successfully managed to goad Quasar's emotions into overdrive, and it was clear that the Space Manipulator wanted a word with his older brother.
The lab was eerily silent as everyone alternated looking from Danny to Clockwork. It was clear that no-one had anything or knew of anything to say in a situation like this. They practically had two Demigods feuding with each other, and one of them was injured beyond belief. Tucker was taking this news the hardest as he was mumbling what Sam deemed as incoherent techno-babble to himself. Clockwork looked around the room before his eyes began to glow blue and his core began to throb. He stifled a groan before he began to levitate slightly off of the table.
Sam cocked her weapon once more, but Clockwork ignored her.
"I must check on Vlad..."
Everyone in the room looked to Clockwork, some with worry and some with annoyance. Danny just watched as his friend floated to the giant monitor in the middle of the floor.
"Do you even have enough strength to get around in the Ghost Zone?"
"No, that's why I will be improvising."
"Improvising?" questioned Sam and Danny together while Tucker snapped out of his ramblings.
"Yes."
Jack, who had been working his way out of his dazed state, looked at Maddie and then tried to stand. Maddie assisted her husband to his feet just in time to see the Time Master touch the monitor. The entire monitor began to glow, and the screen began to ripple a bit. It looked to Danny as though Clockwork was struggling just to cause the monitor to glow.
"Dude, I don't think you have the energy," stated Tucker.
Clockwork said nothing as he continued to pour his energy into the monitor. Eventually the screen cleared and much to everyone's surprise, their version of Vlad appeared on the monitor. He was floating inside of the college's lab, watching the Ghost Portal. It seemed that he had arrived a few hours earlier, and was watching Maddie set things up. He wasn't invisible, at least not to those watching the screen, but it was clear that he was definitely out of Maddie's line of sight.
"Wow that's creepy," stated Danielle with her hands on her hips.
The longing in Vlad's eyes was evident, and of course, very creepy.
