This Chapter will be AU as I will have flashbacks that were never on the show, they were my own creation.

Antonio and Laura's household

It was 5am when Gabby rolled over in bed just to shoot up and out and head towards the bathroom where she would spend the next couple of hours heaving her stomach up.

"Gabs, are you okay?" Laura asked, knocking on the bathroom door before entering and finding Gabby leaning up against the wall near the toilet with a damp facewasher in hand.

"Mm, just morning sickness. I'll be alright though," She said, smiling weakly at her sister-in-law.

"I'm going to go make you a cup of tea, come down when you're ready. Kids should be awake soon." She said gently before leaving her alone to clean herself up.

Downstairs-20 minutes later

"How are you feeling now?" Laura asked, placing a cup of hot tea in front of Gabby as she sat down at the kitchen table with her.

"Much better, sorry about waking you up," she said, taking a sip of the steaming liquid.

"It's alright, I'm a light sleeper anyway. Antonio had to go at 4.30, got called in on a case that cropped up over night," She said, looking down at her cup of coffee.

"He'll be fine, if not I will personally kick his ass for you," Gabby said, eliciting a laugh out of Laura as the kids stumbled into the kitchen weary eyed and grumbling.

Firehouse 51-Gabby's POV

"Morning Dawson!" Herrmann yelled from his spot in front of the T.V with Mouch in his usual spot.

"Morning, how is Cindy and the kids?" I asked, as I went and sat down next to Mouch with a cup of tea.

"Growing quickly, too quickly," He muttered as Mouch launched into a long story of how he won't be like Herrmann as I drifted off into my own thoughts.

Flashback

"So, we going out tomorrow night?" Shay asked as we sat in the back of the ambulance as we did stock to see what we needed to order more of.

"Yeah sounds like a plan, Matt and I didn't have anything special planned," I replied as I checked off the list and she counted the drugs etc.

"Too bad if you did, I had you first sweetie," She giggled as I threw a crepe bandage at her and just smiled at my blonde friend.

End of Flashback

"Dawson?" Casey said, as he shook my shoulder and I was shaken from my daydream.

"Hey," I smiled as he sat down next to me with a smile on his face.

"You okay?" He asked, resting a hand on my baby bump.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Just thinking back on old memories of Shay," I said, with tears glinting in my eyes.
