(Disclaimer: This will be the last chapter dedicated completely to movie content.)

"Oh, you'll love this assignment Naruto! It'll be like a vacation!" Naruto yelled into the air as he trudged through the snow packed path. "It's super easy, you just have to sneak into a country, find a dictator, and make him follow through on a pact that his brother signed ten years ago! Oh, but don't worry, the dictator killed his brother, tried to kill his own niece, and then turned snow country into a miserable, militant, malicious, hell hole!"

Naruto grew quiet as he continued on his path, relegated to simply mumbling to himself. "Lousy old man. Could have at least warned me about the FUCK-ING COLD!"

He had been traveling at a steady pace for about a day and a half on his way to and through snow country. He had to be back in the fire Capital in less than a week to escort Tasuki and Mira to Konoha, and that left him about three days to complete his task before heading back to the compound.

Naruto was wearing his normal attire, the facemask doing a surprisingly good job of keeping the cold out. A sigh escaped his lips before he took a map out and looked it over. The map was most likely outdated, but it had the location of the original palace and the location of the machine that Naruto would most likely be visiting at some point.

He folded the map back up and put it in his vest. 'I'll be close in a few hours... This mission sucks.'

-Aboard the RMS Muviingtargoto-

"There are no such things as happy endings in this world!"

"Of course there is, if you are willing to fight for it!" Shouted the director, his fist pounding the table.

A pregnant pause filled the room. Less than a three days ago, Kakashi had been assigned the task of protecting a pampered movie star on set. Knowing they were heading for snow country, he had picked a team he felt would best keep him entertained while they sat around and watched the movie being made.

Sasuke was an easy choice. Very skilled and with a budding personality, the jonin found that his time with Konohamaru and Ebisu had helped the young man greatly. Sasuke had become a sort of friend to the silver haired jonin, though Naruto would forever remain the masked man's favorite.

Sakura was another easy choice. Much like Sasuke, she had grown considerably under the tutelage of the academy instructors, both in strength and maturity, as well as adding to her monumental knowledge. If he had this version of his two almost students a year ago, team seven would have been world famous by now, and not just because Naruto was gaining notoriety faster than anyone else in his age group.

The final member, Hinata Hyuuga, was a surprise for Kakashi. The freshly minted chunin had been in the village for less than twenty four hours before she was placed on the mission by the Third himself. Her eye was still bandaged, but she assured him it worked fine. Hiruzen had wanted Hinata to get some leadership experience, so up until the snow ninja made themselves known, she was in command.

"Normally under these circumstances, I'd head back to the village or call for backup." Began Kakashi, a smile forming on his face. "But a little birdy told me that a 'reinforcement' is already en route. And his mission will make ours a lot easier. For now, we will simply guard the princess until he arrives."

"Don't any of you listen? I'm not going back! I don't care about the people, I don't care about this country." Koyuki declared, her head dipping as she leaned in against the door frame. "I'll keep making the movie, but the second this gets real, I'm gone."

"Real footage of ninja retaking a country from an evil tyrannical ruler..." stated the director solemnly, only for his attitude to flip one-eighty. "This will be my greatest work!"

Sasuke and Hinata both looked toward their leader, but Sakura was the first to get what he was saying. "You mean you already called for backup?"

"Not exactly." Mused Kakashi, adjusting his scarf. "But there is no one I'd trust more to get the job done."

A look of recognition passed over Sasuke's face. "Then calling for reinforcements would be a waste of time. Protecting the princess is nothing we can't handle. What's his mission when he gets here?"

-A few hours later-

Koyuki laid face down in the snow, having finally gotten the slip on the busty girl with the pale eye, she had run as far as her legs could take her.

"Your a liar father. Spring never comes in this cursed land." She mumbled, only to be terrified as she heard the crunching snow of footfalls.

"Well it sure won't come to you if you die out here." She looked up, only to see a tuft of golden hair and piercing blue eyes. A grey version of what Kakashi wore, except both eyes were uncovered and his forearms were visible. A red sash with the emblem of the Fire Daimyo in black, resting over his right hip. "Any reason the future Daimyo of snow country is laying out here?"

"You must be part of the backup that Kakashi was talking about." She muttered, rolling onto her back. "I'm guessing you're the errand boy? Fine, bring me back. My legs are too tired to walk."

"I'm not here to backup Sensei. I'm here to see why the land of Snow backed out of the deal they had with Lord Tasuki." Replied Naruto as he took a step forward. He easily picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. "You should consider yourself lucky that you aren't in charge yet. I was given pretty specific instructions."

Koyuki simply let the strange teen carry her. She hadn't been lying when she said that she was tired from running. Something bothered her though. "So where's the rest of your squad? I doubt they sent just one brat as back up."

"Already told you. My mission isn't backup duty." Replied Naruto, his voice somehow both friendly and intimidating. "And I am my squad. The Fire Daimyo sent me personally to clear up whatever the problem is."

"I don't know much about you ninja, but the blind girl told me that only chunin and jounin wear this vest thing." Accused Koyuki, tapping his back as she let him carry her. "You don't look much older than she is, but why do you have the mark of the Fire Daimyo on that sash. I saw other ninja with that in Konoha, but his was blue."

"You must really be out of it. I already gave you the information you need to figure it out. The guy in the village was Asuma Sarutobi, a former member of the twelve guardians." Joked Naruto as he adjust her weight, accidentally grabbing her legs a bit to high.

"Hey! Don't cop a feel!" She ordered, feeling vindicated. "And the only thing you've told me about the Daimyo is... wait, I thought you Ninja worked for that old man with the weird hat? Does that sash mean you both work for the Fire Daimyo?"

"I work for both. I'm a chunin of the hidden leaf, and the Viser of shinobi affairs for the Fire Daimyo." Informed Naruto, his eyes down on the ground. He stopped walking and kicked the metallic object that seemed to have melted its way out of the snow. "Hold on tight."

Koyuki barely had time to register what the blond had said before he took off running, following the tracks. As they made it to the tunnel that led to the next filming location, Naruto knew something was wrong. He smelt blood. Lots of it.

Nearly flying through the tunnel, Naruto was forced to stop as he popped out the other side, a hill covered with bodies greeted him, the snow dyed red.

He reacted quickly as a volley of kunai was launched at him, sprinting out of the way. Naruto took a quick look around and spotted Sasuke, guarding a downed older man with grey hair, his sensei fending off some snow ninja while Sakura and Hinata searched for survivors.

"Ah, finally. Princess Koyuki, at long last, you are home." The battle field froze as everyone looked to Naruto and Koyuki, who was now standing behind him.

Naruto looked at the train, seeing a man standing on a platform near the end.

"I knew it... Doto..." Koyuki muttered as she trembled behind Naruto. Naruto created a few shadow clones, shocking the actress, before he began walking away. "Where are you going?!"

"Hey Doto! I've been tasked with talking to you!" He called out politely as he walked toward the train.

"Naruto! Good to see you! Hinata, Sakura, guard the princess." Commanded Kakashi as the battlefield remained calm and quiet.

Doto was about to order another attack when he spotted the mark of the Fire Daimyo on the blonde. 'He couldn't have possibly found out so soon...' "And just what can I help you with? If you can't see, I'm rather busy."

"Well, ten minutes ago, you could have helped me." Naruto said cheerily, a great feeling of unease filling Doto and his men. "Now though, I have to do something quick before we can talk. Can you wait a few seconds?"

Doto, feeling more and more unsettled as he watched the young man, was about to respond.

But the blond disappeared.

"Hybrid Style: Deep impact!"

Time slowed as Naruto appeared above Doto, pink, red and white chakra swirling and rolling around his body. His leg extended horizontally, before he drove it down, resulting in a terrifying explosion like impact.

Snow, ice, metal and rock showered outward and upward, causing the remaining living occupants of the area to be temporarily blinded by the debris. Ears rang from the shockwaves that took the surrounding ninja off their feet, only those who had been far enough away to endure the deafening noise could hear the tell tale sound of an avalanche.

"Doto-Sama!"

No answer, seconds later and the debris still falling from the sky was enough to nearly block out their vision.

When the dust settled enough to see, no one was ready to see the damages caused to the area. The aft two-thirds of the train were simply gone, along with the ground that was below it. Where rails once ran, a sheer vertical cliff now existed, the train and everything else was either sent into the air, or down into the valley.

"W-what is he?!" Questioned the lone female snow ninja, her eyes trembling as she couldn't even bring herself to stand.

"A leg drop... a simple leg drop... Doto-Sama..."

Kakashi simply sighed. "Leave it to Naruto..."

"I must say boy, that was quite the display of power." Everyone's eyes snapped to Koyuki, finding none other than her uncle behind her with a blade at her throat. "Now where is the blonde vermin?"

Naruto popped out of one of the piles of snow, his chakra cloak gone and a look of pain on his face. Standing up, he felt that his leg was fractured. 'No problem, kyuubi will have that healed up in...' "Hey, I hit someone with that! Who did you switch with?!"

"My armor deflected your pitiful attack. I'd think that Tasuki's lap dog would have known about that." Laughed Doto, only for Naruto to turn his head to the right and count enemy ninja.

"One pussy looking guy, one hot, crazy looking girl... the big dumb one is missing." Recounted Naruto, looking down the newly formed cliff. He pointed at the wrecked train. "Most of him must be down there."

Doto raised an eyebrow and averted his gaze to look at the train, only to flinch back when a kunai deflected away from his face, nearly catching Koyuki as it tumbled away harmlessly through the air.

"Naruto, his armor must be a different version than the other three, be careful." Called Kakashi, only for Nadare to attack Kakashi's exposed back, restarting the battle in full.

Fubuki moved to attack Sakura, only for the genin to spin out of the way, allowing Hinata to aim a chakra enhanced palm at the pink haired snow ninja.

Naruto tested his leg, finding that while he could now put weight on it, he couldn't really push off on it. Him and Doto seemed to be at an impasse.

"What do you need her for anyway?" Asked Naruto, walking toward the Daimyo of snow.

"What? She's my bargaining chip at the moment." Stated Doto, confused and perturbed that the boy seemed so calm.

"I'm not guarding her. My mission is to ensure you're country holds up their end of the agreement made with mine." Clarified Naruto, his hands moving into his pockets as his eyes darted around the area before focusing on Doto. "Really, attacking you was my choice."

Doto began to mentally sweat, his senses telling him that the young man in front of him was too dangerous to deal with on his own. "What agreement would that be exactly? I remember no such thing."

"Of course you wouldn't. The deal was made with your brother, the real Daimyo." Taunted Naruto, letting his eyes spark red for the briefest of moments before a feral grin formed on his face, stretching his mask into an almost demonic visage. "My mission is to ensure its honored. Before fifteen minutes ago, that meant I had to... convince you to honor it. That's no longer my only option."

Both Koyuki and Doto froze as a horrifying killing intent filled the battlefield, washing over the combatants and forcing everyone but Kakashi and Nadare to freeze and look at the blonde.

"Keep fighting! Naruto will be fine!" Instructed Kakashi as his opponent pressed the supposed opening.

An explosion happened behind Naruto, catching the blonde off guard as he summoned a clone to cover his back, never taking his eyes off the Kazahana's.

"You're good brat, but not good enough." Suddenly Koyuki was flying toward Naruto. Thinking quickly, Naruto caught her and tried to keep an eye on Doto, only to be blasted in the back by a wave of chakra.

Naruto shielded Koyuki as best he could. An odd sound caught his attention, forcing him to spin around. Unfortunately, Koyuki had used the distraction to try and get away.

"The fuck is that thing?" Asked Naruto as he locked on to what seemed to be a big balloon with a box the bottom of it.

"Nooo!"

A long claw on a cable flew out of the balloon, catching Koyuki violently and yanking her up to the balloon, Naruto spotting Doto and Mizore, the man he assumed he had killed earlier, already on board. Nadare and Fubuki on rope ladders as the ballon maneuvered away.

Naruto growled and watched the balloon leave, heading in the direction that Naruto had known the fortress was located.

"It could be worse. They need her alive." Informed Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura falling in behind him as Hinata tended to Sandiyuu. "Is he holding on Hinata?"

"Yes. No vital wounds, but he will need rest. I've field dressed most of the kunai wounds." Responded Hinata, who Naruto realized was wearing a chunin vest. Also the bandages over her eyes were a concern.

"She was promoted just last week." Informed Kakashi, getting a nod from the blonde.

"Tell me everything, why aren't we following them right now?" Asked Naruto, only to see a group of people move from the tree line, cameras and microphones accompanying them. "What do they want her for?"

"Technically, our mission is to protect the film crew and Yukie Fujikaze, they are after an item in her possession... which may have been removed from her." Explained Kakashi, getting a nod from Naruto, assessing that Koyuki was actually the film star. "However, Doto needs her alive to unlock the treasure of snow country. What exactly is your plan?"

"I plan on removing Doto and having the rightful heir take over, then enforcing the agreement." Whispered Naruto as to avoid the microphones picking it up. Naruto spoke up as the film crew got there, one of them zooming the camera in for a close up. "The other option is to ensure the agreement falls into no one else's hands."

"And cut!" Shouted the director, his crew looking over the battlefield. "This movie will be in memory of these brave samurai and the fate of this country... a Box office smash! Are you the reinforcement Kakashi mentioned?"

Naruto shook his head. "My mission here is separate from Kakashi-sensei. Though I will be assisting in keeping the princess safe."

"Say kid, what was that Hybrid thing you called out? That was better than any special effects I've ever seen." Asked one of the assistants, his eyes still wide.

"Don't worry about it." Stated Naruto, his eyes scanning the remaining Konoha ninja and the film crew. "Sensei, can you get the crew to the fortress, twelve miles north of here?"

"Sure, I assume you... You're a clone, aren't you?" Kakashi deadpanned, his eye growing bland.

"Boss is on the ship. I henged into one of Koyuki's bracelets. Hopefully, the second I get her alone, I'll bust her out." Answered the clone. "I'll try and meet up with you to get her to safety, then I'm taking them all-."

Suddenly the clone popped, confusing Kakashi. After all, Naruto only canceled clones when he was sure they weren't of use. The other option was that Naruto had been compromised. That's when a look of shock overcame Kakashi's face. "Let's go, Naruto is in trouble. Let's get packed up and moving."

-On the airship-

"Some ninja you are. You stow away on a ship full of enemies and get captured in the process?" Spoke Koyuki, her voice lifeless and her eyes dull as she looked at the blonde across from her, a large cylinder attached to his torso. "I didn't even want to be here. Because of you, both of us will die in this frozen wasteland. Just like Sandaiyuu."

"Look little miss high and mighty actress, I don't give a damn what you do or don't want. I'm here to complete my mission. You were my best bet to get to your uncle." Explained Naruto, flexing his chakra and getting zapped by the device on his chest. He had to admit, he was curious as to how it worked, as he saw no visible fuinjutsu on it. "This thing is really fucking annoying. Say, your an actress, could you act like a grown up and stop pouting? Or maybe act like the future leader of this country? Besides, the old man is still alive. I think he was saved by Sasuke, and Hinata was patching him up."

"High and mighty? I'm an actress, not... what did you just say?" Koyuki questioned, an odd look in her eyes.

"Yukie right? Nice cover. Your Koyuki Kazahana. Your uncle is Doto. Your uncle has made himself my target." Explained Naruto as he tried once again to force chakra into the device, only for the electric shock to become even stronger, forcing Koyuki to cringe as it visibly arched off his body. "I'm gonna really fuck Him up for this now."

"...Are you always this vulgar?" She questioned before a thought struck her. "If I pay you, will you get me out of this god-forsaken country?"

"I understand you don't want to go back. I understand your afraid of your uncle. But I'm here to ensure an agreement is upheld. Now, my goal is to kill him and anyone that works for him. You have nothing to fear. Now tell me, why do they want you?" Questioned Naruto as he grabbed the device and tried to pry it off, before he grinned evilly. Koyuki could swear that his eyes flashed red again.

"A-And just who do you think you are?! These people are monsters, you can't possibly stand up to them. Kakashi, a man who is as strong as they come, he-!"

"Isn't exactly equipped to fight ninja with chakra resistant armor." Replied Naruto, his voice still calm, steady. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I'm Kakashi Hatake's lone apprentice. I'm also the shinobi Viser for the Daimyo of fire. I was sent here to confront Doto for his role in threatening the balance of the five great nations, and for disavowing an agreement that your father made with lord Tasuki."

"If you are just his apprentice, then what makes you think you can fight them?!" She questioned, growing more frustrated as the masked person before her seemed disinterested in her at the moment. "How old are you anyway?! You look like your the same age as those Genin!"

"Kakashi sensei fights with skill and technique, almost unmatched. While I can fight like him, and usually do, I have two other methods that make me a nightmare for people like this." Stared Naruto vaguely, looking down the corridor as he did. 'They must really think that this thing will put me out of commission... heh, bad idea.'

"How else can someone fight?" Genuine intrigue filled her voice as she remembered the one hit he had actually made in the fight. 'He did basically take break a chunk of cliff off of the mountain...'

"I'm going to use two abilities almost completely specific to me. I'm going to run their asses over, and literally beat them to death." He told her as he stood up, looking out the door of the room they were in.

"Big words with your chakra sealed off." Stated Nadare, who walked into the room. The pale man seemed to find amusement in the apprentice of his sworn enemy. "You know, I was curious as to if Kakashi would call for backup. Imagine my surprise, he called for a child."

Naruto just rolled his eyes. "You don't get much information from outside your country, do you?"

"Can it brat. Let's go, Doto wants to see both of you." Nadare commanded, walking out of the room and waiting for the two to follow him.

Moments later, Naruto found himself standing in the cockpit of the aircraft, Nadare, Fubuki and Mizore watching him carefully.

Naruto smirked as he saw that Mizore's entire right side was crumpled and his arm was mangled, barely usable. "I knew I hit something. How'd that feel?"

"I must admit, I never thought someone would be able to cause such damage to our armor with one hit." Spoke Doto from behind Koyuki, his eyes scanning past her as he watched the blonde. "I have a proposition for you. You are one of the Fire Lord's Visers, are you not?"

"Indeed I am. Am I to assume you are going to send him my head on a pike or some other pointless villainous thing?" Mocked Naruto as he dug his pinky into his ear. "To be honest, you're not the first 'Take over the world' type I've fought. Hell, you aren't even the first 'You can't damage me because reasons' guy I've fought."

Doto kept his face impassive, but inside he was both furious and exceedingly cautious. The young ninja had already shown the tremendous physical strength he had, and he was sharp. The mask and outfit seemed to cause both an air of mystery and danger to the young man. The only visible part of his face being his deep, piercing blue eyes. Doto could tell that the blonde had some sort of plan, the sheer, unabashed confidence that he was in no danger unsettled the ruler of snow, even with his three strongest ninja surrounding him. "My proposition, was for you and the Firelord to join me. With his resources and our combined power, we could easily control the lands."

"And what power would that be?" Asked Naruto, genuinely curious. "What power, other than your chakra armor, do you hold?"

"No! Naruto, he's evil, you can't join him." Pleaded Koyuki, her eyes wide.

"Why, the power that my brother spent our entire fortune on. The ultimate war machine, with the power to change the landscapes and bring the country of snow back into prominence." Foretold Doto, pointing at Koyuki. "She currently holds the key, its power is within my grasp. It would be wise to join me now."

Naruto's eyes traced to the focal point of Doto, seeing an interesting crystal around the princesses neck... and immediately busted out laughing.

Everyone else froze as he cackled harder and harder.

"What is so damn funny to you?!" Shouted Doto, his deep rumbling voice echoing in the cockpit.

"No way she has the real crystal. Sensei wouldn't let someone with a weak constitution hold onto something that valuable." He continued laughing. "And you know what else?"

Doto ground his teeth, his patients wearying thin, but his instincts yelled at him to flee. A look to Koyuki and he realized that she ,too, was examining it. A look of shock crossed her face. Doto snarled through his teeth. "What else brat."

"There's no way in hell some toy like this will stop me." Stated Naruto as he pumped the device full of kyuubi's chakra, a loud pop later and the odd chakra converter was on the ground in pieces.

The Snow ninja all moved quickly to stop him, Doto grabbed Koyuki and took off toward the aft end of the airship.

Flashes of red and white filled the cabin, rapidly swirling and rolling off the blonde. Mizore was the first to move in, earring him a vicious spinning heel kick to the right side of his face. He smashed out the side of the airship and plummeted into the snowy forest below.

Nadare jumped back and assessed the situation while Fubuki attacked his back, hoping to press an advantage she assumed she still had. Naruto ducked the blow to the back of his head, grabbing her wrist before he spun her, using his own momentum as he twisted her arm with a sickening crack, his other hand reaching over her shoulder and grabbing her chin.

*Snap.*

She collapsed, her head twisted at an odd angle as she lay on the floor of the cockpit.

"Impossible..." muttered Nadare in shock. "The armor should prevent that..."

Naruto locked eyes with the man. "I felt it. That chakra feedback. That must be very complex and advanced armor. It almost kept me from forcing her head so far over. Almost..."

"You fucking brat! I'll kill you!" He shouted as he launched himself at the blonde, literally flying toward the Konoha chunin.

Time seemed to almost slow down for Nadare. Naruto leaned back until he was parallel to the ground, his fist cocked and his arm pulsing with chakra.

"Bijuu style: Yang Explosive Punch!" Naruto's fist connected with the center of Nadare's chest, caving the breastplate in and folding the pink haired man over.

Time seemingly restarted as Nadare blasted upward, tearing through the ceiling and then through the balloon itself, breaching the ship and causing it to begin descending quickly to the ground. Naruto lost sight of the most likely dead snow ninja as he felt the ship start to plummet to the ground.

Thinking quickly, he picked up Fubuki and took off toward the aft end of the Balloon, hoping to find Koyuki. Luck was not on his side. As he reached the back of the airship, he found the back section was missing, a clean brake and several cables disconnect was enough to tell Naruto that it was some sort of escape shuttle. Naruto moved to look down at the ground, clearly seeing the gliding aircraft that carried Doto and the princess.

Naruto Palmed a kunai and raised it above his head. He could clearly see the back of Doto's head. With a deep breath, he charged wind chakra to the kunai, took aim, and fired the kunai as hard as he could, aiming for the side of his head that was away from Koyuki.

Naruto grit his teeth as he watched the kunai bounce of the shield that seemed to permanently defend Doto's vital areas.

Until blood exploded of the side of Doto's face, with Doto collapsing to the floor of the glider. Koyuki flung herself away from the man, barely staying in the glider as she watched the blood run down his face.

"Does the armor..." a grin covered Naruto's face. "Oh, your done now Doto... now to get off of this balloon..."

Naruto looked around, seeing that there wasn't another glider, nor any true means of a safe landing, Naruto understood he would lose sight of the princess. He looked at his captive, the armor must have just barely done its job, the woman was still breathing.

Naruto had broken her neck, but it seemed her spinal cord wasn't damaged enough to kill her. He guessed the had an obligation to get her off the crashing ship safely, she wasn't a threat anymore. With a plan forming in his mind, Naruto sighed and waited.

He wanted to be a bit closer to the ground before he jumped out of the descending aircraft.

-Doto's palace, fifteen minutes later-

Doto had wrapped his face in bandages, the left side having a gash the ran from the top of his ear to his jaw line. 'The armor still isn't complete! To think that chakra could cut through its defenses. Why wasn't it absorbed?'

Koyuki struggled to escape the man as he dragged her down the hall, his grip on her upper arm almost felt like it was going to turn the bone to powder.

"You better hope that machine is worth the trouble you brought here." Muttered Doto as he yanked her through a hidden door that led to an escape train.

"Me?! I didn't want to come back! Besides, Naruto-kun came here because of you!" She Shouted in his ear.

Doto grit his teeth and slapped Koyuki across the face, leaving her dazed as the right side of her face began to swell. "Naruto-kun was it? Hmph, just like your mother, fall for any idiot that helps you. I'll enjoy killing him in front of you."

Koyuki fought through the haze of the slap and snorted. "I'm an actress uncle. I can tell an act when I see one. You are terrified of him. He's just a teenager, and you are running from him."

A cruel grin crossed Doto's face as he shoved her into the train car. "I'm not running from him. I'm going to activate our ultimate weapon, he will be the first victim."

Koyuki's eyes widened before she slumped into one of the seats in the small train car. "So that's why you are keeping me alive. You don't have the crystal, so you are going to draw Kakashi and Naruto-ku... Naruto out."

Doto once again simply smiled a cruel and vicious grin. "You would have made a fine heiress. To bad really.."

The train suddenly jolted forward, chakra surging down the rails as it moved toward the location of the super weapon.

-Front gate of the palace-

Naruto arrived at the front gates to see that Kakashi and his team had beat him. Still carrying Fubuki over his shoulder, Naruto waved over Hinata and Sakura, who took defensive positions.

"She's no trouble now, she's paralyzed. Can either of you two wake her up so I can ask her a few questions?" Asked Naruto as he laid her on the ground. He stood to see Kakashi standing next to the director, who was half tending to sandiyuu and half directing the cameras, who were simply recording everything around them.

"Maa, Naruto, you should know that Doto and Koyuki aren't here." Stated The Cycloptic Jonin. "Hinata saw them leave heading east on some sort of personal railcar."

Naruto nodded before he took a knee and started drawing in the fresh snow with his finger. He attempted to redraw the map that he had received from the daimyo's informant, but once he got past the fortress, the only thing east of it was...

Naruto stood and kicked his foot through the crudely drawn map. 'Why would he go there though? Even if it was a weapon, he doesn't have the... which would be why he still has Koyuki with him.'

Naruto looked toward the crew, then to Sasuke and Hinata, then Sakura and Kakashi.

"Jonin Hatake, might I ask to take command of your unit to complete my mission?" Requested Naruto as he tapped the fire Daimyo symbol he now wore over his hip.

"Currently, your mission is of higher priority. Since we are both trying to protect Lady Koyuki, I would accept your input and orders." Replied Kakashi.

Naruto nodded and waved everyone in close, then waved the cameras and microphone off. "Alright, here's my thought. Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura will protect the film crew. Myself and Hinata will pursue Doto. When we get to Koyuki, I will engage Doto while Hinata brings the princess back to the film crew. If you get there before I clear the princess, wait for an opening and get her out of there."

"And you plan on taking Doto on your own?" Asked Kakashi, feeling incredulous. He trusted Naruto's judgement, but he really didn't know how well he would match up with Doto. Especially since he had no idea how much the blonde had progressed in the last month or so. He just wasn't sure that Naruto could hope to defeat the technologically advanced leader of Snow.

Naruto looked over his shoulder to see the camera zoomed in on them and sighed deeply before he winked at Kakashi. "What matters now is not my life, it's rescuing the princess."

Kakashi almost rolled his eyes. "I understand. I'll do everything in my power to assist you in your battle." 'Leave it to Naruto to give a dramatic flair for the cameras. He must really think he has an edge or two over Doto. Guess I have no one to blame but myself.'

-Ten miles east of the place-

Doto stood triumphantly over Koyuki as he waited for the ninja to get there. He was aware that Fubuki had been killed, Mizore was most likely gone as well, and Nadare was nowhere to be found. He would have to defeat Hatake by himself to retrieve the crystal. 'He will fall before me. Much like all the others that have stood before me.'

Then there was the blonde. He had little doubt that he survived the crash, and he had to admit, he wasn't sure how his advanced armor would stand up to the young powerhouse. 'It makes sense that Tasuki would make that boy his shinobi Viser. Such raw power at such a young age. Quite the mind on him as well.'

"What will you do if they don't come?" Koyuki Asked, her eyes hollow as she sat, leaning against a the small temple that stood in the middle of the field they were in.

"They will. Konoha ninja always complete their missions." Stated Doto with a sinister grin. "And when they do, I'll kill them all and claim my weapon."

"No need to kill anyone. Here, now give me the princess."

Doto spun around, only for chunk of rock to hit his face.

He glared at the blonde boy, his eyes shooting down as he heard Koyuki gasp and dive for something at his feet. "Naruto! No, he can't have it!"

Looking down, Doto discovered that the blonde had actually thrown the key at him, and Koyuki now had it in her hand. Doto grabbed his niece and hauled her off the ground, ripping the crystal from her hand and throwing her at the blonde, who caught her with ease before whispering to her. "Don't worry, I have a plan. Just relax and you will be safe."

Doto carefully inspected it before looking at the blonde. "What's the catch. Let me guess, you give me the key to my weapon and now I'm suppose to spare your pitiful lives."

"New offer. You let Koyuki and the rest of the Konoha ninja go... and I'll join you." Stated Naruto, shocking everyone in the vicinity.

Doto grinned a sadistic grin and jammed the key into a rock that stood tall before him. "I no longer need your assistance! With this weapon, I shall be the ultimate power in the world! I'll take over one country at a time, starting with your pitiful home."

Naruto simply shrugged and started walking away. "I guess we are done here."

Suddenly, a loud buzzing sound spun up. Doto stood in a slight crouch as he prepared for the activation of the super weapon, while Naruto simply kept walking.

"Naruto, how could you? My life isn't as important as the rest of the world!" Koyuki berated him, following him closely as she trembled in fear of her uncle.

"Looks like we both can be wrong. I thought you were suppose to be all about yourself? Suddenly you care about everyone else..." laughed Naruto as he kept walking away.

"Wha? This is no time for jokes! Doto is going to... did it just get warmer?" Questioned Koyuki as a wave of heat rolled over them.

"That's it? A Damned Heat Generator!"

Koyuki turned back to see a furious Doto, his eyes trained on Naruto.

"You really thought that your peace loving brother would spend his fortunes on a weapon?" Asked Naruto, slowly turning around and locking eyes with the tyrannical ruler of snow.

"How did you know? How did you have information that I didn't!" He shouted in frustration.

"Your brother ran out of money while building this machine. He came to the Fire Daimyo with a deal. He wanted nothing more than to return snow country to prominence and give his people what they deserved. So a deal was made. Fire country gave the remaining money to Snow." Stated Naruto as he held his hand up, pointing one finger at the sky. "The Fire Daimyo accepted that his investment was lost, and moved on. Until we got a mission report from Konoha."

Doto's eyes widened before he looked at Koyuki, snarling at Her. "You brought him here."

"The deal included a stipulation. Keep his daughter safe. Now that his end of the deal has been fulfilled, I am forced honor the deal, to remove a threat. It's only fair." Stated Naruto, his eyes suddenly turning far colder than they were just moments ago.

"Damn you! Ice style, black dragon blizzard!" Shouted Doto as he weaved through hand signs. The dragon grew from the surrounding ice, slightly melted from the heat, and rocketed towards Naruto and Koyuki. Naruto moved in front of Koyuki and waited for the dragon to get near.

A faint glow of white chakra surrounded Naruto. The instant the dragon was to strike, Naruto backhanded it's head, driving it off course and causing it to destabilize.

The dragon exploded, shrouding Naruto and Koyuki in black flurries. Doto's triumphant smile faltered when he saw both Naruto and Koyuki standing tall, no injuries visible. Naruto took off, sprinting and low Jonin level speeds, directly at Doto.

Doto smirked as the fist came in hard, only to be deflected away from his face by a shield of chakra. Naruto slightly retreated before once again launching at the tyrant. Naruto leaped, flipped and extended his leg, bringing it down hard on the shoulder of Doto, forcing Doto to his knees and deflecting Naruto away.

"This armor isn't like the ones you've faced before. This is the newest prototype, it resists Tai, Nin, Gen and Ken jutsu by absorbing chakra and creating a barrier that can't be broken." Bragged Doto, feeling much more confident after the blondes attacks had failed to hurt him.

"You know, I'm really sorry you feel that way." Stated Naruto as he looked around, no urgency in his voice. "That armor must be hot with all this heat coming off that generator. Maybe you should take it off? No need to get all sweaty."

Doto blinked, then growled in rage and charged the blonde. Only feet away when the blondes eyes curled into joy. 'Boom'

The area was rocked by an explosion, blasting Doto backwards and terrifying Koyuki, who watched Her only protection explode before her eyes.

Doto climbed slowly to his feet shaken up from the explosion. He looked at where the blonde once stood, now only a small crater that was beginning to fill with the water from the melting snow.

Koyuki collapsed to the ground, utterly devastated by the apparent violent death of Naruto. However, Doto knew better. The blond had been several steps ahead of them all along, and Doto was prepared for the blonde to reappear.

But he didn't.

Doto stood still for what felt like hours, his mind and eyes racing to try and find the blonde.

"No more..." Koyuki's eyes lit up as she looked defiantly at her uncle. She stood, her posture tall as she fell into the stance she used in all her princess gale movies. "I may be outmatched, but I won't stand here and let you get away with this! I run no more!"

Koyuki exploded forward, launching a fist at her uncle. White chakra coated her fist as it impacted the stunned Doto's face, turning his head and forcing him to stumble back. A kick to his leg turned his stumble into a fall, with Doto rolling out of the way of another kick that would have hit his face.

Doto gained separation and hopped to his feet, stunned by the sudden change in Koyuki. She was breathing heavily, her eyes focused on the man in front of her. She moved again, rocketing toward her uncle with reckless abandon.

Doto too rushed toward Koyuki, intent on ending her defiance. A blur in the right side of his vision made him stop and defend himself, Koyuki spun, landing a kick on doto's shoulder and pushing him back, though it did little actual damage.

"Chidori!"

Doto was struck in the back by a lighting covered fist, his armor struggling to absorb all of it. He spun to punch the new enemy, sending the black haired teen flying away, where he landed in a crouch.

"Juken:Sixty-four palms!"

Again, Doto was forced to take several blows from his back and sides, this time, the other chunin, the young woman with Her Left eye covered in bandages, assaulted him. He broke free, before lashing out with a brutal kick that Hinata was just barely able to block, sending her in the opposite direction of Sasuke.

Sakura sprinted out into the open, taking hold of Koyuki and trying to remove her from the area.

"You aren't going anywhere! You have been a thorn in my side for too long Koyuki!" Doto Shouted as he wove through hand signs. "Ice style: Double Black Ice Dragon Blizzard!"

Two mammoth black ice dragons rose from either side of Doto, a maniacal smile on his face. Both dragons shot toward the princess and Genin, both hopeless to stop it as it rushed them at almost Jonin level speeds.

The dragons impacted, exploding into ice shards that acted as shrapnel, shredding everything in their wake.

"Sakura!" Shouted both Hinata and Sasuke, horrified that they may have just lost their friend.

Suddenly, a small tornado appeared out of the ice, pushing the ice shards away, then fading out of existence. Doto grit his teeth.

Blue eyes stared back at Doto, blond hair dancing in the wind that remained from the defensive jutsu. Doto screamed in rage, his hands flying through hand signs. "Ice style! Black Ice Spear Dragon!"

The rapidly melting ice formed into one last ditch effort to kill the blonde. The jutsu raced toward Naruto, who instantly was surrounded by white and green chakra, held his arm back. A white and green ball of chakra grew in his hand, a screeching sound piercing the air.

Naruto sprinted toward the dragon. He thrust his arm forward, the ball of chakra meeting the dragon head on as it tore through the ice jutsu like tissue paper. Naruto continued his sprint, splitting the jutsu as Doto looked on horrified, unable to move as the blond got closer and closer.

Naruto exploded through the tail end of the jutsu, his Rasengan still strong as he pulled back once more, his charge never stopping. "Take this! Rasengan!"

The jutsu made contact with his chest plate, instantly shattering the emblem and tearing into Doto's armor. The stored chakra was released into the rasengan, causing it to expand to massive proportions, until it exploded, sending Doto hurtling through the air, where he impacted one of the giant mirrors. Though the camera couldn't see it, his body was almost shredded from the blades of wind that exploded from the Rasengan.

Naruto too had been blown back, though he was still standing, staring at the now dead dictator of snow. His lifeless body fell from the cracked heat mirror, revealing some sort of chakra resonating mechanism that must power the machine.

Koyuki, Hinata, Sasuke and Sakura rushes to him, only for him to collapse into Sasuke's arms, out cold.

"Naruto!" Both Koyuki and Sakura called, Hinata already had her byakugan active.

"His chakra network is damaged. Chakra isn't getting to his right arm and it's severely slowed down to the rest of his body." She reported as she began applying a Juken healing technique to his arm. Relieved as she watched the chakra begin seeping back into his limb, though very slowly.

"A result of using that jutsu with his yang chakra." Replied Kakashi quietly as he arrived on the scene, carrying a clearly dead Nadare over his shoulder. "He will be fine with enough rest, he knows his limits."

They all breathed a sigh of relief. Koyuki looked the blonde over, unable to understand the feeling that was washing over her. Instead, she just let the moment be.

She was finally free. Free of her uncle, free of her fear, even free of Her cares. It was a good day to be Koyuki Kazahana.

"Well, since I believe our mission is complete, let's Get Naruto somewhere to rest."

-Snow County Capital, Next day-

Naruto was aware of many things at this moment.

He was in a very nice bed, in a very nice room. He was almost naked, as far as he could tell, his underwear was the only article of clothing on his body. Even his face mask was gone, leaving Naruto feeling rather exposed. There was a bowl of ramen sitting on the nightstand nex- there was a bowls worth of ramen in his stomach. His body protested all but the slightest movements. There was a small pug sitting at the foot of his bed.

Wait...

"Pakkun? Where am I? Why are you here?" He Questioned as he once again sat up.

"Good to see you too." The pug spoke in a deep voice. "Kakashi had to leave for a while with his team. Some rebels thought that the old guy was still in charge and attacked the palace."

Naruto nodded. "Are they coming back then?"

"He said they would eat and leave. He just wanted me to watch over you until you woke up." Stated the Dog summon, raising his front left foot. "Would you like to touch my paw pad?"

Naruto's eyes lit up as he leaned forward and poked the paw pad with his index finger. "So soft..."

Pakkun put his paw down and nodded. "Seeya next time pup, stay safe."

Then, he disappeared in a puff of smoke, most likely going to report to Kakashi.

Naruto simply laid back down, finding the bed to be suitably comfortable. As he drifted off back into sleep, a thought crossed his mind. 'I could get used to this...'

The door opened, waking Naruto up as flashes of Anko and pranks sparked in his mind. Thankfully, Naruto was able to look at the door, only to see it reveal none other than Koyuki, dressed in ceremonial robes. She stepped through the threshold and closed the door behind her.

"Can I help you, Daimyo-Hime?" Asked Naruto with a smirk as he sat up in the bed.

Koyuki momentarily found herself at a loss of words as she looked at the rather handsome man that had almost single handedly free'd her country. However, she wasn't the world's greatest actor for nothing. She pulled a thick stack of papers out of her robes and slapped them on Naruto's lap.

Sensing the impending questions, she opted to explain everything. "The director and editor are going to be using a lot of the footage that involves team seven. Most prominently you and Sasuke. That's is a contract agreement that will pay you for the use of your name and likeness. The writers are rewriting the script now to fight everything in."

Naruto nodded and set the stack of papers on his clothes, which were on the table next to him. "We still need to go over the agreement between you and Tasuki."

"Fine." Koyuki Sighed as she pulled up a chair. "I suppose it's the least I can do after everything you've done."

"Do you know the original agreement?" Asked Naruto, reaching into his vest and pulling a scroll out. He handed it to her and she quickly looked it over.

"That's it?" She Asked, dumbfounded by the stipulations. She looked up to Naruto to see the humor in his eyes. "It's a joke right?"

"No. Tasuki was more than happy to finance the generator. He wanted to see the feasibility of such an idea. All he wants in return are the blueprints, and for snow country to finance a vacation home and a land plot near the border." Explained Naruto. "To be honest, he wanted me to push for a trade agreement as well, but that can wait until we work out the original deal."

Koyuki nodded with a dumbfounded expression. "You did all this... risked your life... for a vacation home and a set of blueprints?"

"Pretty much. Tasuki was pretty adamant about the vacation home. He loves to get out of his Manor whenever he can." Explained Naruto, his hand coming up to rub the back of his head. "Well, That and I wasn't lying when I told Doto that your protection was part of the deal. Your father requested you be looked out for in case something happened to him."

Koyuki looked at her lap, a lone tear leaving her eye as she slumped. "My father was a fool. I guess it's just time I change my mind on what exactly a fool is."

Naruto smiled as he watched the newly minted snow Daimyo show Her first real shred of happiness. "You'll make a great leader. Im hopeful we will work together again."

Koyuki looked up with wide eyes, surprised to see Naruto already had his mask on and was putting on his pants, followed by his shirt and vest. He looked at the daimyo's sash for a moment before tying it around his waist, over his right hip.

"Well...If you wouldn't mind, would you follow me to the courtyard? We have some principle photography to finish up." Stated Koyuki with a small bow. "And there is something I'd like to ask you while we walk."
