How Young Justice Should Have Ended

(Kid Flash's p.o.v.)

"GAH!" I said still being hit by the endless blast of kinetic energy while still running as fast as I could alongside my uncle Barry Allen—better known as the Flash ll and my first-cousin-once-removed Bart Allen also known as "Impulse." And my soon to be successor to the identity "Kid Flash." My body felt like it was killing me.

"Flash, we have to slow down more, KF looks like he's about to feel the mode!" Impulse said, looking at his grandpa.

"Don't bother Bart! Oh, Artemis is going kill me! And don't even get me STARTED on-" I started saying beginning to fade away but suddenly Flash grabs my arm and started to vibrate his body very fast, and my body started to feel better and I started to feel my mind and my legs getting fast, was I getting faster? But wait if I'm getting faster doesn't that mean…I then realized what Barry was doing.

"Barry, STOP! If you give me your super speed NOW your going-!"

"To late now, Wally! Just you and Bart do me a favor, and just tell your aunt Iris- " Barry began but disintegrated leaving on his suit in my hands. Me and Impulse look at the place where Flash was and we both had horrified expressions on our faces.

(Impulse's p.o.v.)

All of the sudden the kinetic vortex around us disappears and we halted to a stop panting and hearing The Team coming around us and congratulating us, I then look up and to see Artemis kneeling on one knee hugging her boyfriend in what I assume to be a death hug.

But the happiness is then disrupted when everyone started to look around and notice that one of the three speedsters was missing.

"Where's Flash?" Aqualad questioned. Both me and Wally had grim and sad looks on our faces and almost everyone's eyes widen with realization. But I then looked at my best friend Blue Beetle lll whose look told me he was watching the whole time through his armor.

A few hours later Wally, Artemis, Jay Garrick (The first ever Flash), Jay's wife, Paula Crock (Artemis' mother), Wally's parents and I are at Iris's house knocking on the door. The door opens…and Iris comes out looking confused but then notices the red jumpsuit in Wally's hand, and teats start to weld up, we all huddle together.

(Flash III's p.o.v.)

It had been a week now since Barry's death. I was at the memorial in the Watchtower looking at his holographic statue. Me, Artemis had decided to go back into "the life" but as The Flash and Tigress. Artemis also changed her name to "Linda Parks" and got a job as an anchor woman at a news channel. I was now taking Barry's place in The Justice League while Tigress stayed on The Team with Bart to look after him. I now wore Barry's suit and Artemis now had her Tigress costume on but has blonde hair now instead of black and no longer wore that "glamor charm" around her neck. She hugged me and we turned saw Bart in my old Kid Flash costume looking at the statue.

"Hey kid, how you feeling?" I say looking at Bart's eyes, which was filled with sadness.

"Moded." He says. I still don't get what that even means…

"Well you shouldn't. Your grandpa would be proud of us for carrying on the family legacy."

"I know but-"

"Hey don't worry Kid, I gotcha." I say. He smiles and we all started to head to the mission room.
