A/N: Um, hey guys! Has it been too long? I'm sorry. I just had a better idea of where I wanted the story to go, and then had no idea what to do with it. There will be more info down below if you care. Here's chapter 12. It's kind of a filler. Sorry. enjoy

Alec wanted the rest of his day after lunch to go quickly and was lucky that he only had two periods after lunch. He knew that Magnus would be waiting for him once school was over, so he was more focused on that then he was on his seventh period chemistry class.

Jace, who was in that class with him, seemed to notice.

"Are you okay? You seem really spacey," Jace asked, concerned.

"Just want to get out of here," Alec replied.

"Did something happen?"

"Yes, but it doesn't matter," Alec shrugged him off then tried to focus on the teacher. It proved to be harder than he thought. This information wasn't taught to teenage shadowhunters, so he had no idea what was going on.

"I think it does matter," Jace said, clearly trying to get Alec to talk.

"Boys, is there an issue?" the teacher asked, interrupting the conversation.

"No, sir," Alec replied, which caused the teacher to turn back around and Jace to shut up.

When the bell rang, Alec went to the nurses office instead of study hall.

"What's wrong, dear?" she asked after he walked in.

"I'm feeling very sick to my stomach and would like to go home," Alec said, after rehearsing it in his head.

"Do you have a fever?" she questioned.

"I'm not sure."

"Well, sit down and we'll take your temperature."

Alec obliged, and when the Nurse took his temperature, she looked a bit skeptical.

"No fever. What do you have right now?" she asked.

"Study hall," he replied.

"Well, I guess it won't to send you home then. Do you want me to call someone to get you, or did you drive?"

"I drove," Alec lied.

"Then here's something you can give to the office. Feel better, hun," the nurse said then sent him on his way.

Once Alec was outside of the school, he texted Magnus to come meet him. He got there almost immediately.

"You okay?" Magnus asked once he was close enough that they could lace their fingers together.

"Yeah, I just needed to get out, so I told the nurse that I was sick. She was surprisingly easy to fool," Alec said as they began to walk in the direction of Magnus' apartment.

"Did that guy bother you again?" he further questioned.

"No, but Jace wanted to know what was going on. I really didn't know how to explain it to him, so I opted to not," Alec replied with a shrug.

"He's your parabatai, though, and he's basically your brother. Wouldn't it be easy to tell him something like this?"

"We've never had to go through situations like this. It was always have each others' backs in a life or death situation. Neither of us understand how to interact with mundane high school students, and he would probably just lash out, which is the last thing he should do."

"You should still be able to talk to him about those kind of things. You were able to tell me, and we still need to heal our relationship."

"You're Magnus. There's nothing I can't tell you."

Magnus looked at him coldly. "You mean besides going to see Camille behind my back."

Alec inwardly groaned. "You know why I was going to see her. I explained that to you already."

His gaze softened. "I know. I'm sorry. You've had a rough day. Actually, this might be the band aid that'll hold us together for awhile if I can help you feel better."

"How so?" Alec asked.

"Well, if I can help you overcome this situation, we will both have more trust in the other and another level added to our relationship. Plus, we can cuddle and cuddles make everything better," Magnus explained, his tone lightening.

Alec couldn't help but giggle. How on earth an extremely powerful warlock could act like a five-year old, Alec would never know.

"Cuddles do sound like a great way to end this day."

After a little more walking, they finally made it back to Magnus' apartment.

Once Magnus opened the door, his face turned red and Alec could tell why. The place was a disaster. The living room looked like it was being taken over by an introvert who enjoys too much daytime TV. Blankets were strewn about the couch and the floor along with many, many pillows.

"I probably should have cleaned up a bit, huh," Magnus said with a sheepish grin.

"Have you been living on your couch?" Alec questioned while walking towards the mess.

"Basically. My bed reminded me too much of you. The couch wasn't much better, but it wasn't as bad as the bed," Magnus explained, then with a flip of his wrist, the room was tidied.

"Well, I think you can try one more night in the bed. Perfect place for cuddles," Alec said while dragging his boyfriend towards the bedroom.

They spent the rest of the evening curled around one another, perfectly content with how the day had ended.

Please don't hate me for how much this sucked. I think I've said this before, but this story is basically our favorite shadowhunters reacting to normal high school stuff. Earlier I said I was going to make a skeleton, but then that failed. So I decided that maybe it would be better if you guys got a choice. So for the QOTD...

What kind of awkward high school experience do you think the characters should go through? This story has basically three points of view, so pick one and tell me what you want to them to suffer through... i mean experience.

Sorry for the break and for the lack of, well, good content. I promise the next chapter will be better!

You are all freaking awesome! Until next time!
