"Penny for your thoughts."

Kurt jumped, looking up sharply from his locker. His face met...Quinn's?

"Oh, not much, just, uh, daydreamin'." Kurt replied.

He wasn't that close to Quinn. I mean, sure they were friends. She attended Glee Girl Sleepovers and hugged Kurt after he performed a solo in Glee club. But she didn't really come up to him in the hallways and talk to him.

Quinn smiled knowingly as Kurt shut his locker. "About that boyfriend of yours, ain't it?"

Kurt blushed slightly and smiled. "Oui."

Quinn learnt French too so he knew she'd understand. Besides, it was just common knowledge to know what 'oui' meant.

"How is Blaine?" she asked, skipping slightly alongside Kurt as he walked away from his locker. "No-one's bullying him are they? Because I can get Puck and the guys to-"

Kurt smiled gratefully. "No, I think he's

fine, as far as I'm aware." he paused. "Are you and Noah still an item? 'Cause I know how he got you pregnant and all..."

Quinn smiled. "Apparently you were one of the first to know, straight from the horse's mouth. The horse being Noah, as you call him." Kurt chuckled and held the door open for her as they entered the choir room. They were a good ten minutes early and it was empty.

"I actually thought you were lactose intolerant or something! God, I was naïve." Kurt groaned.

"Not anymore! Finn told Puck about you and Blaine after West Side Story a couple weeks back!"

Kurt blushed and glared playfully. "That BASTARD," he murmured, causing Quinn to giggle. He decided she was really nice after all.

They talked and laughed for a few more minutes until members of the Glee club started to file in, in two groups: Tina, Rachel and Finn & Puck, Artie and Blaine.

Kurt caught Finn's eye and mouthed 'you are so dead, Finn Hudson.'

Blaine saw and smirked as he saw Finn pale slightly, flopping down beside Kurt and Quinn, kissing his boyfriend's cheek lightly. Quinn smiled. 'God, they're so cute,' she thought.

When Mr Schuester entered the room with Brad, Quinn immediately stood and said, in a very Rachel-like tone: "Mr Schue! I would like to sing a sing with Kurt, if I may."

Mr Schue looked a little taken aback, but nodded.

Kurt had no idea what was going on, when he was suddenly whisked out of his chair and standing at the piano. Quinn murmured something to Brad and some very familiar music began to play. Kurt grinned as Quinn began singing:

"You promise me this, you promise me that,

You promise me anything under the sun,

Then you give me a kiss,

And your grabbing your hat,

And your off to the races again,

When I think of the time gone by,

And I think if the way I try,

I could honestly die!"

Kurt smiled, knowing the song all too well and began to sing his lines:

"Call a lawyer and sue me,

Sue me.

What can you do me,

I love you.

Give a holler and hate me

Hate me.

Go ahead, hate me!"

He smiled at Quinn as he sang the last line slowly:

"I love you..."

Quinn, (staying in character) pulled an annoyed face and sang her line:

"The best years if my life, I was a fool to give to you!"

As she finished the last word, Kurt (acting frustrated) started:

"Alright, already, I'm just a no-goodnick!

Alright, already, it's true.

So new.

So sue me, sue me,

What can you do me?

I love you!"

He smiled at Blaine on the last line, as the song finished. Quinn beamed and hugged Kurt, as the Glee club cheered.

Kurt hugged back, thinking hard.

"Well what d'ya know?!" he thought, "Me and Quinn are amazing duet partners!"
