Delmorian chapter 5 . 7/1/2016
Again I state if I had the power, I would appoint you the keeper of the disk cannon, going forward. Masterful as usual.
sorex1973 chapter 5 . 3/13/2015
A fully realised piece. Style is spot on, was great to see so many roundworld and discworld back refs :)
GeoffG chapter 5 . 2/25/2014
Donald? Really Donald? However, great fun, lots of smiles and giggles - just as Discworld should be. But Donald? Anyway thanks very much.
zoya1416 chapter 4 . 2/8/2014
Oh, A.E., this is really pulling together here. I was a little lost the first few chapters. I'm from the US, so never heard of 'Love Thy Neighbour.' I love the religious pamphlet-love that kind of parody. "Thatte Bitche Hath Slept Her Way To The Toppe." Extra points for working in the wizard who does shellfish communication-when it's casually and faultlessly popped in, it's great. The man with the assegai-shades of the boy in the Klatchian take-away (in Jingo) who draws out his father's poorly kept crossbow? Or just any nut who picks up a family heirloom? Johanna getting jittery and Precious and Roth, and-I enjoyed this.
Freyalyn chapter 4 . 2/8/2014
It took me a distressing amount of chapters to realise the Blue Oyster connection - I just wasn't paying attention to the conjunction of the words 'blue' and 'oyster'.

Loving this, as ever.
GeoffG chapter 3 . 2/5/2014
Excellent as always. A joy to read and I look forward to the next chapter. One tiny thing, I thought that the cube of 2 was not supposed to be spoken aloud. Both Ponder & Sam taking a risk? Sorry if I have lighted on a plot device.
Thank you for the story.
GuesssWho chapter 3 . 2/5/2014
I love this. A blue oyster cult!
KillerWombat chapter 3 . 2/5/2014
I thought that the 'Colour of Magic' indicated that in relation to Discworld magic the number between 7 & 9, what 4 4 equals etc. was a no-no to have spoken. Perhaps you could make a running gag with replacing that number with something impractical but shows the effort of Wizards at avoiding (un)said number?

Other than that I am enjoying your writing style.
Anna Marcelli Palmer chapter 1 . 2/5/2014
I was scrolling through lists of works with the mentality that f.f is not as good as it used to be. I was pleased beyond description to find a story as well-writen and beautifully imagined as this. Plus, as a die-hard fan of Terry Pratchett's novels, I can recognise a writing style similar to his when I see one and believe me, it is something extremely difficult and demanding to accomplish.

I will definitely be following this work of literature, not only because it is an excellent specimen of truly skilled writing, but also because the Discworld fandom is not a popular one, and I do believe good writers in it should get feedback and encourage one another.

Stay Creative,

Anna

So many good ideas. Very nice set-up. Brilliant last line as it echoes the readers own thoughts. For Offler's sake don't leave us hanging for too long! Thank you.
Erbanana chapter 2 . 2/2/2014
Yay! Zoo animals! I have no idea which way this story will go.
Erbanana chapter 1 . 2/2/2014
Yay! Johanna and Verity!
Freyalyn chapter 2 . 2/1/2014
And once again, as intriguing and curiositysing as normal...
Guest chapter 1 . 1/15/2014
I think you've mucked up your footnotes a bit: (2) appears twice in text (and only makes sense the second time), and (10) looks like it should go a couple of paragraphs earlier.
GeoffG chapter 1 . 1/9/2014
Excellent. Really look forward to the next instalment. Love the crafty way you introduced Shoggoths.
