While it was sad that Daryl died it was sweet that his spirit stayed for a while to look after Beth. You were right when you said that not many writers kill off Daryl so it was very brave of you to do so. Keep up the good work

As soon as I saw that Daryl was going on a hunting trip, I thought "guess Beth's gonna have her baby early." Not that this is predictable. I just read too damn much.

So, he's trying to get over the loss of his late wife and child by dressing his new wife in her clothes? I get that there's not a ton to choose from, but... still a great story.
One teeny tiny thing - do you really need to explain Beth's thoughts to the reader if you're going to have her voice them in the very next paragraph? Just a thought.

Aww, a puppy. Yay! And I lived that little impromptu marriage thing they did. Kind of perfect, actually.

Second, I have a feeling I know what she wants to make her life truly complete, but I wanna see where you're running with this. (And I have a feeling they're well on their way to fulfilling her little wish anyway.)

This is such a fun little story. It did feel like this chapter kind of bounced around a lot, which worked - I could follow it fine. Just commenting. On to the next.
