I went back to look for it after recalling it from the depths of my memory when giggling over the price of kitchen utensils in John Lewis. And what a fantastic surprise to find that it continued after those initial chapters. Such a lovely story; and your writing captures those inconsequential moments of coupledom as well as the momentous ones so darn well. It’s the same reason that your Berena story is one of my favourites. And as I stopped watching LTiH once I got wind of the season 3 debacle, this will now become canon for me. So thank you, truly, and I hope you continue writing for whatever muse takes your fancy. |

I love how Kate is calm and steady and patient and unfazed by how much of a headwreck Caroline can be. Caroline's inner dialogue rings so true. And, best of all, they get a happy ending. One is a verb and one is a noun. The heel of your hand. How long does it take for a wound to heal. Apart from that a magnificent chapter. |
