this is your worse one yet?! are you serious? you're pulling my leg! the only reason i ever come back to the harry potter section to read anything is because of you (countless sifting through weird HP fanfics have made me very wary of them). and when i saw that you had made a new story i was beyond excited! even if it was just about the sorting hat! and as you always have done with your fics, you have given me a very deep and broad prospective to think through. if i had to pick anyone (at gunpoint) to continue the harry potter series it would be you. it did make me wonder what could have given the sorting hat the confidence to provide its service to hogwarts for all those years. and even more the confidence to actually sing out warning to the students when he knew they needed them. in fact you made me think of him more that just an enchanted protects the students in a way that the teachers cant. he understands each and every personality of the houses and its students and the warnings he gives on unity and so on are ones you dont hear often even from the teachers.

but why would he even care or even bother? i love your answer to this question from your fic. its because its his responsibility as given to him by the founders. to protect them. and he does so even if it is only a warning. or even if they dont take him seriously, he does it anyway. makes me even more intrigued to read more of your fic. to bad i ran out for now. write soon!

though if there is anything i wish you had added, it would be more detail about the 'old gryffindor' the weariness in his eyes, or the sadness reflected in his expressions at all that he's been through over the years and the loss of two people very precious to him... thats would have been more touching . but great fic. write soon!
