In reality, it does make sense that he could do that. However, in that case, it wouldn't make sense for any of them to struggle with 500x gravity.

Also, how does blasting someone increases the speed of the frieza's ship by 4 times? 30 days is a hard limit. It's not like working harder will make the ship fly faster.

I don't care about zenkai boosts cause those make sense but saiyan or not , gohan is six therefore should only be slightly stronger than piccolo as a super saiyan (which logically that would also strain his body like kaioken so he is not capable of using these yet) because even if he has the power and skill, his body could not put these things into reality because he is not finished developing. Krillin can do kaioken because short or not he is still fully developed unlike gohan. If you look at dragon ball goku can't use the max of his power because his couldn't handle it just yet.

I'm a bit disappointed you didn't have Videl take part in the tournament.

It would have been interesting seeing Gohan's canon girl against Lime, since both are martial artists in their own right.

Videl going for revenge for her old man, while Lime would have just pointed out the obvious.

Though, the one thing that hurts DBZ, is its martial arts are more akin to brawling or Krav Maga, even though the series and franchise reference styles of Kung Fu, since Crane is one of the Five Animal styles.

I can see it now. Guru unlocks Piccolo's potential. Piccolo beats Frieza down then gets blasted off deflecting the planet crusher. Enter Nail after absorbing Guru. Does his best but frieza wins. Here comes krillin to blind him. Ape form Vegeta takes advantage. While he's distracting the bigger bad guy, Piccolo absorbs Nail/Guru and Dende gets everyone healed up. That way Piccolo gets both over powered Namekians.
