I have read this book a while ago and am revisiting it - I can't fault it at all and from the first chapter, Marayna is the most humanized, sassy, and very remarkable character I think I have read about. I love the introduction with her comment about incest - so funny! |

Only a few chapters in but I can already tell its great!I love that it is a longer story with several instalment as I have been looking for a longer story for a while. It is super easy to read and I love the twist of Merlin having a rebel sister. If there us one thing that could be improved it us that Merlin doesn't do much independent magic and it takes away from Merlin's power. In the TV series I like that he is kind of a lone wolf when it comes to his magic. However, this is a tiny criticisms and overall its a really great series and I look forward to reading more |
