Guest chapter 3 . 10/13/2017 Knightshade please? (Jaune x Blake) |
Guest chapter 5 . 8/12/2017 I hope you will update soon |
SlashSoldier chapter 1 . 7/21/2017 Well, I've never really stumbled onto this type of story. The premise sounds interesting and I like how Jaune doesn't submit to the 'encouragement' of his family. Ciaphas Cain style stories seem really promising, especially this one :) |
Fitoor chapter 2 . 6/24/2017 Wait.. Beacon is in Vale not in Vytal right? Vytal was where the kingdoms signed some peace treaty. |
SpawnofAnarion chapter 4 . 4/28/2017 I'm definitely enjoying the story. I've got to say, something inside me wrenches with each altered team assignment, much like the feeling of seeing a series of wall-paintings slightly off-kilter-just a sort of 'that's wrong, that can't work' that likely just sort of stems from my attachment to the original story and how well those pairings ended up working out, but I think it was a good choice for this story, given that Jaune and Pyrrha can hardly have the same relationship in this given his false-persona shenanigans, though I really don't know how on earth Ren and Blake and Nora and Weiss are going to work out XD Seriously, though, I'm enjoying the story and the writing is sound-if you ever decide to continue this, I will most assuredly read more. I like Jaune's character here, even if he is a bit self-centered rn. |
ArmantusCumPinnae chapter 5 . 4/6/2017 hope this continues some day |
Guest chapter 5 . 3/28/2017 Interesting story please continue it |
KazeShini23 chapter 5 . 12/30/2016 This has such great potential, i hope it isn't abandoned. Good luck to you sir/ma'am and great work with this story. |
Guest chapter 5 . 10/30/2016 Interesting story please update soon |
OriksGaming chapter 5 . 8/31/2016 Damn. Shame this story is abandoned. I'd have loved to read more. A lot more. |
ObsessivelyObsessiveObsession chapter 1 . 6/24/2016 There is one major problem with his view on life. If he were to become a baker then, yes, he would be safe, but only as long as the city was not overrun. Should he even run into a single grim, or even a common thug that wished him harm, then he would surely die if he was but a baker. You could, of course, argue that this is a similar situation to real life. For instance, similar to the city falling to grim, a country could fall to an army. Running into a thug or a grim could be equated to a thug in real life. I would argue, however, that it is quite different. The world of RWBY is far more dangerous, with humanity being trapped in small cities, hunted down by powerful beasts. Humanity is on the brink of extinction, and having the possibility of using superpowers to protect oneself, not only from the grim but from other superpowered humans as well, seems like a must have for someone with any self preservation instincts. The fact that he would forgo the chance to grow powerful to protect himself and simply naively hope that he could peacefully live his entire life as a baker contradicts the personality you have created for Jaune. It is simply illogical. |
Mr. Exterminatus chapter 1 . 6/10/2016 A big difference I see here is that Cain grew up in the Schola Progenium, a military academy, so he knew how to fight and was very good at it. Cain fought chaos space marines with only a chainsword and held his own. I hope Jaune becomes equally skilled. |
Phearo chapter 5 . 6/8/2016 What a shame that this hasn't been updated for a long while. |
