I love how you managed to make her naivé and sorta helpless without verging on the useless territory. She's really cute and relatable, not to mention she suits Cloud a lot.

(Always felt bad after seeing Tifa mope about Cloud. They just don't fit imo. Feels forced.)

I'm just about to look for the promised sequel! I hope it's up. Otherwise I'd die a little coUghs.

There are a couple of things that bothered me as I read, but they're small. One, that Jenova is most definitely not a "he." Second, I like that for the most part, the chapter is written in present tense. It's an underused device, IMO. But there are places where the tense slips into past, and that's disconcerting. :3

I'm glad that nobody believed June (even if that's hard for her, it's more realistic). I'm also glad that she and Cloud aren't getting along. It gives me hope that future chapters will show a softening between them. :3
