If this is what they have to go through all the time, never knowing the ending I don't know how they do it. I couldn't. But good for them that they do.

Excellent way of showing the process behind filing a child abuse report. People usually don't know this side of the story, and you're correct about knowing the ending. This was a fine way of informing others of what other things police officers do.
