Dealing with alcoholism is not easy. Senior is definitely one so it is not surprising to find that Tony is too. Only you could create a plot about such a serious problem and feed our addiction to TIBBS. It is almost o k for him to have the problem.

Thank you so much. I cried when I learned Tim's kid was named Anthony. I like that you know that sobriety isn't easy and relationships aren't perfect. I love Tony's honesty and Gibbs' emotional clarity, knowing that neither of them is really whole, but believing that having each other is more important than all that. This will not be a typical relationship, full of strategy and misgiving. It will be one of devotion and love, that embraces the pain and seeks to comfort it. I am proud of both of them. This was wonderful in so many ways.

Just one of many favorite lines. This was so real I almost couldn't take it. I mean really, can you imagine? MCGEE. And yes, that is exactly what guilt feels like, and to be trying to forge a new relationship during it, a slender reed of hope, something that should be a homecoming, and it's not working...? Jesus.

I loved that Gibbs just stood back and waited for Tony to return on his own. Happy Tony was able to go through everything and come out stronger.
