Awww . . . I think this is a story befitting the New Year as it's one filled with love and hope.

I love the way you've portrayed Sephiroth, his insistence and desperation intrigues me. I was left wondering why he was adamant that Cloud drink the contents of the vial. By the time I got the end, I could very well understand why. If I were in his position, I, too, would have acted the same. He really loves Cloud, doesn't he? And that love was heartwarming and sweet. It was so painfully obvious.

As for Cloud, can't say I blame him for being suspicious. I mean, he was being stalked by a mysterious cloaked man - no wonder he's wary. If I hadn't known the outline of this fic beforehand, I certainly would have been scratching my head with bemusement and wondering how the hell does Cloud /not/ recognise Sephiroth? I knew it was AU, but it still needs getting used to when Cloud behaves in a "who-the-hell-are-you?" way to Sephy, lol! I am so glad all went well in the end and tragedy was averted - even if it were at a price. A price, I know Sephiroth would be willing to pay a hundred times over.

Anyways, a sweet and fluffy 2014 start for the fandom from the wonderfully talented you. I hope you'll continue to grace us with more of your awesome ideas. Thanks for the hard work! *hugs*

I really enjoyed your first upload for 2014. Started off creepy and then became romantic and sweet. We don't often see Seph in his Safer form, so that was an interesting surprise. I liked it a lot, he's impressive and fascinating.
