I love this story! So glad you've continued to write it even after a long hiatus. I don't think your writing seems rusty, if anything I think the tone and pacing has gotten better throughout.

Oh my word. I was in tears practically the entire chapter! Fantastic chapter! Painstakingly heartbreaking, though... I was right there with Valkyrie- I was able to feel the bitter anguish and icy suffering down to the marrow in my bones. Phenomenal. Absolutely remarkable. But Gray can't just leave her! Maybe you just made too well of a connection between the reader (me) and Valkyrie to which would justly explain my dilemma, but I felt like Gray made no sacrifice, or even really cared, when breaking things off with Val. He didn't seem too broken up about it- in fact, he seemed to be a little too at peace with it. But that's probably my feminine stance on break ups talking... :/ Sorry! But it was a cataclysmic chapter nonetheless! In the good way, by the way! Haha. Not to give you the wrong idea. Okay.
