I just this chapter...and only this chapter. I mean no offense by that at all. You see, I've only just discovered this piece. Hopefully I can get around to reading the rest of it soon. From what I've read here, it looks like a delight. :)

First of all, please excuse the grammar and overuse of some words. English is not my first language, and I have to translate my thoughts as I go along. This is probably my favourite Downton fic, Modern AU and probably the fic that I have re-read the most. I stumbled across it in a very random way, but I am so thankful I did. Thank you so much for this story! First of all, it came at a time where I needed reassurance of my place in the Greater Plan, and reminded me that everything will work out in timejust have patience. Secondly, I love how you took the original events, but ployed them so that they fit into the story, and not the other way around. Everything just flows so naturally! The characters were well placed and adapted for a modern surrounding. Bates as a vicar is something I have never imagined, but it works. So does Anna as a normal person with issues and swear words and doubts, as opposed to the unrealistic "faultlessness" she has in some fics. It made her a relatable character, almost more than in the series (seeing as how she deals with modern issues in a modern setting). Their struggles, both individually and as a couple, created a story that had me gripping the edge of my seat and completely ignoring my accounting lecturer (worth it though!) This is the type of story I would gladly purchase as a book, or see as a movie. I wish I could call you just to tell you in person how much I loved it! All in all, job extremely well done!

as I reread this story, I am shocked that I never commented! This was wonderful. I had my doubts about Bates as a man of the cloth, but it really works. The passion between these two it was phenomenal. I loved the time it took for these two to make it to the altar, and the drama involved there in. Very sexy, very good!

Oh my goodness can you just write my life for me?! Maybe leaving out the heartbreaking moments and the attack. But I've always wanted to marry a vicar, I want to work in law, I want my own kids but I also want to adopt. This fic was amazing. Amazing amazing. I just cried buckets it was incredible! You're characterization is amazingit WAS John and Anna but at the same time they were your own characters. Oh my giddy aunt thank you thank you thank you! And the ending was perfect! x

I love love love this story (and I'll post a more detailed review once I've finished it) but I just wanted to say how excited I just got over Anna mentioning Call the Midwife and specifically Shelagh and Patrick because (apart from Banna of course) they're my otp and ugh fangirling so hard! x

This story was so amazing and good. I came back this morning an reread the last 3 chapters. This story was perfectly written. I loved it!
