Jackie was sitting by him, as she had been for the past week and a half, taking his temperature and talking to him as if nothing were wrong. Funny, he had always hated sympathy, he had trouble letting even Mrs. Forman take care of him, but he didn't really mind Jackie babying him.

- Nice one shot. Aww, I can see Jackie taking care of Hyde if he ever got sick. Even if he wouldn't admit it to her I think he would like Jackie babying him.

This was such an excellent little story a great one to have as your first!

The whole prompt of someone being sick and then being taken care of by their loved one is really a such a sweet prompt and I love that you’ve placed Hyde and Jackie in this prompt and this time it’s Hyde who’s sick! Nice twist!

I really loved the way you wrote out the story and showing what was going on during Hyde’s sick days. It was things that I could see happening, Kitty rushing around o take care of him, the gang leaving him alone so he could get better, and Jackie staying by his side till he got better. It was really sweet and something I could see Jackie doing, because she loves him.

The ending was probably the sweetest part for me. How Jackie got a little sick and she remembered the way he wanted just five more minutes with her when he was sick, after he sad it was her fault fro wanting to spend time with lol It was adorable.

Let me tell you again how much I love this story, it's incredibly well written.

Don't get me wrong, this a great story and very sweet, but you should change the title to avoid confusion with nannygirl's story, just saying. Great job on this story though, I read it a few times cause it was very well written.

This is a cute and sweet one-shot! I think its scenario (Jackie watching over a sick Hyde) could've definitely gone this way.

My favorite parts:

(she could feel the warmth from his fever radiating off her boyfriend's scalp. His face would be towards her, his nose pink and the rest a ghostly pale.)

(Steven didn't complain too much, always asking nicely when he needed another blanket or some water. And when Eric would occasionally pop in, Steven would jokingly order him around, but everyone understood. That was a part of their friendship. If Steven were to ever sincerely say "Forman, can you please get…" Jackie would have driven him straight to the hospital.)

(He held her close when she sat on his lap; at first they'd been a bit nervous since Steven was still sick and all, but the two had spent basically the past two weeks in the same room together. The damage was done. She was just glad that Steven was okay.)

(Jackie did end up feeling a bit ill a few days later, nothing too bad, just a cold. Steven told her that it was her fault for spending so much time with him, and she just smiled, remembering how he'd begged for five more minutes while he was sick. Steven denied it, hell, maybe didn't even remember it. Maybe he had been delusional after all. Or maybe he knew exactly what she was talking about.)
