I can't believe how beautiful this is! But it needs to be filled out a little. If I hadn't seen the movies, I would have no idea who, what, when and where.

To be honest, I would have been fine with Tauriel and Legolas just being friends. I think the whole Kili and Tauriel thing came out of nowhere also, as they were both incredible characters on they own. But I like what you did here too, it makes a bit of sense.

The arc with Legolas and Tauriel isn't what the movie was going for, it just happened to turn out that way during pick ups. There was never an intended love triangle and if you look at it, I don't think Legolas sees her in that way. As for the "glowy" thing, there is a reason for it. Kili was literally at death's door when Tauriel got to him and when she was healing him, he was seeing her true form, her spirit, much in the same way Frodo saw Arwen. I liked this story regardless :)
