I truly enjoyed reading this wonderful story!

This is a great story!...but what happened after? What did Star Fleet do? Where did Tom and B'Elanna go? Did Miral get her Academy stuff straightened out? More please!

I feel like such a tit for not continuing this awesome story. I always enjoyed it, but I think the length intimidated me from continuing. Which is pretty damn hypocritical of me, since I've got some door-stopper fics going.

Anywhoo, I really like how you write Chakotay as a father. His dialogue is so in-character, I can so easily picture him saying and doing all those things. And Joaquin is very believable as his son. It's driving me crazy now, who his mother is. (Maybe I already asked you this.) Is she an original character? Someone from the Maquis?

Well in any case, I love Joaquin's interactions with Miral, and really appreciate that this fic is not only pro C/7, but *twice* anti-J/C (with Joaquin's mother not being Janeway either).

Hopefully I'll get back to reading this regularly!

This was a very well-structured story that had some classic moments of Tom and B'Elanna. I loved the reveal about Solek!

I love that Chakotay and Seven are together, and that Chakotay is so close to Miral. :) B'Elanna was perfectly in character too, I'm impressed so far.

Oh god, poor Miral. I live in a small town, where people are extremely nosy, and often seem to be watching and pointing and whispering about you, so I relate. I hope the media scumbags spying on her get what's coming to them!

Another great chapter! My only complaint is that you never stated what the Onari and the Shantak look like, aside from some hair colors. I don't really know what to imagine for these aliens. Do both races look pretty much the same as humans?

Cute chapter! I was confused at first, about Joaquin's calling his father "Sir" and "Chakotay," but you cleared that up by the end of the chapter. Now I'm wondering who his mother is (Sveta?)

I feel compelled to say that I really like the names of all your characters. They're very unique (without being too outlandish or Mary-Sue-ish). They're memorable names. And I like how Seven and Chakotay named their daughter after Seven's mother.

I like Miral's taste for pranks. The episode "Endgame" kind of presented Miral as a copy of B'Elanna (Klingon rage and engineering skills), but I like how you gave her some of Tom's traits too.

And I'm glad Chakotay is with Seven. Even if I wasn't a huge C/7 shipper, I'm just sick to death of seeing J/C everywhere. Blech.

Nice! I'm liking this so far. The name T'Poq is pretty cool. I like that the instructor is a Vulcan, and that Miral's best friend is European (had to look up the name Inge, to see if it was some ailen Star Trek name, or just a real foreign one). I think for the melting pot Starfleet is meant to be, far too many characters are human and American.

I like the cute interactions between Miral and Tad Bishop. Looking forward to seeing where that goes!

And I see this story is complete, which is also a plus.
