I discovered Last Tango a year ago on Netflix, and instantly fell in love with the story and characters. My favorite scene is when Kate comes back to the wedding, and asks Caroline to dance. I discovered this site a couple of months ago, and enjoy all the stories. Just wish I'd known about it after the dreaded S3E3 when I felt so alone with my grief. Again, thank you for your stories. |

| marciakate chapter 7 . 10/30/2014 I have read so many of your stories and keep coming back for more. So well written, interesting plot lines, characters true to what Sally has inspired and more. So, it came as more than a little bit of a shock - a sad one, truth be told - when in ch. 7 you mentioned ... 'Celia, too, became more accepting of her daughter's lifestyle'... That 'lifestyle' term is a BIG red flag for a lot of gay people - myself included - and is used by the conservative right to imply sexual orientation is a 'lifestyle' choice when, in fact, it is not. The only choice is whether or not we are true to ourselves as we go forward in life - and that choice, as Caroline (and Sally) teach us so well - is not always easy. I look forward to more of your really great writing and hope my comment is not seen in an offensive way. That would never be my intention. Thanks. |
