I've found some of the AU stories a bit far fetched, but this one makes perfect sense. Quite enjoyable. Thank you for sharing it.

Oh, this was absolutely gorgeous! I loved it! The slow build-up, the romance, the angst (which had me quite scared for a while, as I couldn't see a way out from the retcon) and finally that beautiful ending! So very true to their canon-characters - the snark, the flirtation - it was just wonderful! Beautifully written, thanks for sharing!

Wow, you rocked my world! This was an amazing story. You nailed the snark, you nailed Jack's hero complex and you nailed that elusive Torchwood happy ending. Definitely a FAVORITE!

I really enjoyed this AU way of meeting. There was not a lot of detail of when this was occurring in the original storyline. I guess it is to much to hope that it was occurring after the 456? Thanks for sharing.
