This was so much deeper, so much more intimate than what I was expecting. And so much better.
You're right, the first time is never as perfect or seamlessly executed as it is in the movies and it can be so nerve-wracking... you captured the pre-smut jitters, the worries and the full blown heart attacks and meltdowns perfectly. You captured Makoto, and Makoto's pre-smut jitters, worries and heart attacks perfectly. Thank you so much for an amazing read and I hope to God there's more!

I'm new to fanfictions, and to Free, but of the ones I've read - this has to be my favourite. You've realistically captured the character's personalities and flaws and they are so beautiful together. I feel so much for Makoto, and Haru comforts him in just the right way :) I love the way you write Nagisa and Rei as well and am in love with the second chapter, impatiently waiting for a final chapter, if your kind enough to write it. 3 I'll forever be your fan.

This is absolutely without a doubt my favorite makoharu fanfiction ever. The first chapter had me smiling and I just love the way you write, just wow. I know you said you struggled with it but I think it came out great. I think I have an unhealthy addiction to your MakoHaru. Especially since practically no one else writes Makoto sub when he was clearly born for the role. He's such a big adorable teddy bear... Orca... Who needs as much Haru love as possible... Preferably in that epilogue you hinted at. Haru makes these suggestions in your fics that require exploration. Like the tie bondage you eventually wrote. I think it's only right we explore Makoto getting his first blow job and first time sex in this scenario. :P
Should you ever feel inspired to write more Free! I think I know where you should start. (Hint an epilogue for this hint)
Anyway, marvelous writing. I think your use of italics and bolding and sometimes lack of spacing is super effective. Thank you for the marvelous, adorable, extremely hot one shots! Keep up the great work.
