I love this story.
Concolor44 chapter 1 . 1/15/2015
Oh, my. How did I miss this?

This just makes so much sense. Anna's mood and the ice sculptures and the remorse and the love and the pride. So REAL. You have a subtle facility with the girls' characters that makes your work an unalloyed joy. This so totally gets Favorited.

Beautifully written. You really got Anna and Elsa's emotions down. I also wrote a short fic about the anniversary of their parents. Feel free to check it out on my profile. It's called "The Black Curtain".
Morgaine2005 chapter 1 . 11/30/2014
That was incredibly heartwarming. Thank you for this fic. :)
Hathor-Aroha chapter 1 . 10/29/2014
You know that moment when you are reading an exceptionally good story? That moment when time seems to not matter, and the world around you fades, replaced by the world of the story? That's how it was for me reading this. The experience of all the details-I could see the fjords and the ships in the distance, I could imagine the feel of the ground under Anna's feet, her racing heart and pace. I imagined every detail on the ice sculptures of the parents, and the huge graves with Elsa sobbing at their feet.

Only a truly professional and top-notch writer can do that for me, and you are, without a doubt, one of those magnificent authors so rare to find in the world.

I'm a teenage male and I'll admit I even I started to tear up. You are an absolutely fantastic writer. I'm glad I found your stories. They cheer me up for some reason. I just want to say thank you so much. Sorry if I'm being a little forward or weird here. I'm just a little emotional today. :) Keep writing For the First Time in Never. I love that story. See ya'll later. ALLONS-Y !
NicPie chapter 1 . 4/11/2014
Another awesome piece. Great job. :) I especially loved the Anna/Gerda scene and then once Anna finally got to the overlook and her and Elsa got to be together. Very touching.
Frozen-Patty chapter 1 . 4/7/2014
I only cried for 20 minutes. Y'all should be proud of me
Shadow Huntress chapter 1 . 1/4/2014
I love the Christianity hints in this. It's so nice to find that there are others like that. This is Catholic right? Unless it's Greek Orthodox. I love your writing and I'm planning on reading more of what you write. Keep writing and I'll keep reading and reviewing.

Jacquelyn Krehbi chapter 1 . 1/2/2014
My daughter, you continually amaze me. Your words bring tears to my eyes. Such a beautiful story from such a beautiful young woman. I'm so proud of you. The story of the two sisters continues in your words. What depth and insight at such an emotional level is truly inspiring. I say these words not because you are my daughter, but because you are such a gifted writer. I truly believe that in the very near future your words will inspire, invoke a myriad of emotions and entertain multitudes. Congratulations! Well done.

shamrob42 chapter 1 . 12/27/2013
Stunning. Just stunning.

Anna's characterization, especially when placed in such a somber, heartfelt situation was spot on; you were incredibly thoughtful about palace life and the time period despite all those details being secondary to Anna's search for her sister (going from acknowledging that paintings would sit in the late Queen's locket and even coming up with the ideal place for her and the late King's burial) but above all that technical brilliance, you tugged hard at the heartstrings. I swear, a little bit of me died when Anna found Elsa crumpled at her father's sculpture. And the quiet embrace they shared afterwards...

You had Elsa pay an incredible homage to her parents with the ice sculptures. I was slightly on edge after you revealed it to be by her creation; would they be left to simply melt away even before the official mourning began? Then everything was made that much more incredible when you made them permanent with the same flurry that now keeps Olaf alive. A great bit of symmetry there, linking one representation of familial love to another.

There have been a number of great one shots between Elsa and Anna on the site, but this is easily among the best I've read. I eagerly await what you write next!
