| Brainstormandthethinker chapter 7 . 12/28/2014 Your story takes place in a alternate universe correct? Here Billy posesses pyrokinetic abilities. As I started to read this chapter, I found myself wondering what if the prom night as described in the novel or seen in the movies was a smokescreen and that in this version of event it was Chris and Billy who were the true culprits that burned down the prom. I love what you did with Billy Nolan here, since Carrie is 50% based on Cinderella and is a downfall story instead of rags to riches. Nearly everyone in it serves a specific roles from Cinderella. For some time now I have been unable to stop imagining Billy Nolan as the "big bad wolf" kind of figure or wondering what if he had lived and sort of like became the anti hero or anti villain. The protagonist of his own story. Yours is the first story I have read that appears to address this possibility and does so with Top Marks! This was an amazing chapter and I loved every moment of it. Well Done. Keep up the good work and don't stop writing. I want to find out what happens in the end including your eclipse series. Question:- Would you describe yourself as someone with a sense of humour? If so then the correct response sequence to "keep calm and carrie on" is :- "For goodness sake calm down, it's only a prom massacre". If not then please disregard what I just said and accept my heartfelt apologies. |
