I have just started to play The Tale of Two Towns and I think I'll go for Kana just because of this hehehe, really, great job!

Ah, Kana. He's such a great mixture between dude-bro and dork. For not having written about him, I thought you did a wonderful job with his character (granted I haven't gotten very far in ToTT either, but from what I know...). It was nice to read about him thinking about his family too -it wasn't too dramatic or extreme and even though this was a sweet, happy fic, I thought it fit well and was realistic.

I love how you well you wrote Kana and Lillian's friendship. Like seriously it makes me so happy that this wasn't super-romantic, more about their friendship, really. The banter between them was great, and made me chuckle several times...it was very natural, too, like conversation I could picture between actual young adults Also, I liked how you made Lillian sweet without being immature (I hate when female protags are written like little girls). She seems like the kind of chick I'd enjoy hanging out with.

Also, you did a great job in the beginning setting the scene - I really felt like I was in Konohana, in the middle of Winter. Well, it is the middle of Winter here so that helps, but I digress. Anyway, good job with this, and thank you for participating in the SS this year :)

Hello Mareep! What I liked about this is that it had just the right amount of friendship and fluff. I also found the last bit, where Kana asked Lillian if she wanted to "warm up" at his place funny because it was sweet, but it stayed faithful to the characteristics and the relationship you gave them. :)

Awww! So sweet! I love it, and am glad I'm not the only one who didn't finish the game. :) I would have liked to know the rest of the villagers' opinion on the ice sculpture, but considering that the story is for Kana and Lillian, I can see why you excluded that. Anyway, good work!

In all seriousness, I truly do love this! I'm sitting here with a dopey grin of happiness; it's just the right tone and I could totally see this! Cotton Candy Mareep, I swear it feels like you know me or something because the knitting, and blue is my favorite color, and how did you know I drowned my farm in blue roses and snowdrops (and gentians) every winter? o_o Although when I first read that she made Kana a sweater, I actually could not stop myself from saying aloud, "Oh good grief she made him a boyfriend sweater! But wait, it's okay, they're not together yet, right? So there's hope!" And then I laughed at myself because there I was in bed, sick as a dog, talking to myself because I was so wrapped up in this story. It's like a little handmade sweater of words, warm and cozy and sweet and I LOVE IT THANK YOU!

I actually married Kana in my first playthrough of ToTT (while living in Bluebell even!) and I liked him a lot, but I agree about the horse obsession being strange. He's a sweet dude, but I ended up liking Hiro better. Still, Kana has a special place in my heart, I suppose!

You did a really great job, I loved this! Absolutely adorable. You kept Kana in character, and I loved the dialogue between him and Lillian. I totally kept imagining him wearing a cute horse sweater too... the mention of curry was a nice touch, too, since Kana is obsessed with curry!
