Well, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this - would you believe that I thought of the same exchange taking place when I first read the manga? It's a pretty cute fic, ignoring the copious amounts of Japanglish used. XD That's my only suggestion - I like that you put effort into incorporating the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! into this fanfic along with its lingo (e.g. Mou hitori no boku, hikari, etc.), but it sort of breaks up the reading, you know what I'm saying? I just think that this could be improved if you stuck to writing in one language or the other, as opposed to having the reader mentally switch back and forth between reading in the English voices/pronunciation and those of the Japanese version.

...And only now do I notice how long ago this fanfic was posted. Well then. Keep up the good work, I guess! D

...Being truthful...that wasn't one of the best fics I've read...but it was O.K...could of done better.

The good thing about this songfic is that you don't go into Yugi and Yami's feelings too much. You express them just right, but don't go into over-detail. Some other fics like this one elaborate too much on their feelings, and as a result, the fic completely loses its meaning.

What I want to say is that so far, this is the best take of the Kaiba/Yugi duel I have ever read. The song just goes PERFECTLY with the events, too!

I am SO amazed. It's hard to find non-script YGO fics, and even harder to find those that can hold my interest completely, but this was incredible, I was so engrossed in it from beginning to end.

The song you used is beautiful and really a great choice to write about. If the Kaiba/Yugi duel fics are "cliched", yours is definitely the best one out there.

Your creativity and talent are wonderful, so keep writing so that I can keep enjoying!
