Whoo. After keeping up with the story and then not keeping up because of life, I had to re read the whole entire thing from start to finish because I forgot what chapter I stopped on -.- I’ve missed this story and it was a pleasure to finally finish reading it.

Angela you did a great job with this story and I wish I had continued to encourage and review for you when you updated it before. But it’s still a joy to re read it all now

I'm not surprised by the turn of events, but I look forward to it nonetheless. How will Ranma manage to stop the wedding I wonder?
I like the idea of using Kodachi to fight for her kingdom, I only wish she were more the eccentric-but-capable exiled heir rather than the clearly batshit-crazy heir.
I also want to say, since we have seen nothing of Shampoo since she attacked Akane we have nothing but Ukyo's word that Shampoo regrets her actions and wouldn't try the same thing again as soon as she had the chance. At least with Kodachi we know, and saw, Ranma threaten her and Kodachi taking the threat seriously, and modifying her actions accordingly. We don't have that with Shampoo, so I'm still suspicious of her.

I really like the 'anti-climatic' end to Happosai. I'm really nervous though that he will somehow escape and seek revenge. Not to mention there is still Kuno to deal with and turning all the formerly humans-now-rats back.

I'm glad Akane now knows about the curse, and that they are planning to overthrow Happosai. However, I find it hard to believe that Happosai doesn't have spies or some way to listen in and track what happens in his own castle.
It is heartbreaking how Nodoka seems to have lost a bit of her sanity with the lose of her daughter. I hope she comes around and can help overthrow Happosai.
I'm glad Ranma despite wanting to keep Akane safe did let her in on the plan. If Akane had to work in secret against him as well just to know what was going on... well, it would have been very tiring.

You certainly have Kuno's voice and motivation down.
What little I know of Ranko and her character, she still seems to have been a female copy of Ranma, and while plot-wise that doesn't matter much for this story, it decreases the significance of her death. Especially since Ranma does have his curse, it seems Ranko is still alive, so to speak, because she and Ranma have the same personality. I do still really enjoy this story, and Ranma/Ranko having the same personality isn't actually a huge issue, it just gives the revenge for Ranko less gravitas.
I'm curious to see if Akane can manage to win Nodoka's favor.

While in hindsight Happosai would be the perfect villain in this story, I didn't expect him (the villain) to be revealed so soon. Still, quite the dramatic reveal, it certainly satisfied my thirst for dramatics.

Quite the chilling mystery there. Did Ranko's attacker purposely frame Akane then?
I'm glad to see that in your portrayal of romantic relationships sex isn't the only factor. Who is ordering Ranma's actions? Is Ranko's attacker the one pulling the strings, or was he yet another pawn?

My only protest about the flashback, if Ranma and Ranko were originally separate individuals, shouldn't Ranko have her own personality? Perhaps she does and we haven't seen it yet.

This is so much fun.
You seem to have captured the characters perfectly, and how they would react in each situation. Ranma seems OOC but with the right background I could believe his actions, I'm certainly still enjoying his character.
Who, I wonder, is pulling the strings? Akane seems to have a modified memory, Ranma certainly bitter and angry about Something, who orchestrated all that, I wonder?
