Aww great story, I loved reading it. Shelby is my favourite character. And I know what you mean, I found Higher Ground a few years ago when I started watching criminal minds, and AJ Cook is my favourite. I was only six when this show was on, and I hate that it's not on DVD and that there were no other seasons. But your favourite episode moment of Shelby's breakdown is also my favourite moment as well, along with Kat finding out that Jules had hurt herself and went to get Peter and Sophie, I rewatch that part all the time as well as Shelby's breakdown. Anyway, really great story, thank you for sharing it. :) x

You're right they should have put a scene when Shelby talks to Peter in the show! Great start, I miss the show, it was such a shame that they cancelled it after only one season! It's been 13 yrs since I watched it but anytime I catch it somewhere on TV I tune in - it was such a good show!

Wow this is one of the better Higher ground stories I've read. I watched the show when it first aired and forgot all about it when until I started watching Criminal Minds I love AJ Cook and wanted to see what else she was in. I didn't realize when I found the show on YouTube that it was one of my fav shows from the early 2000's and I loved Shelby's character. I hope you update soon!
