Guest chapter 1 . 11/1/2019 This is absolutely beautiful. I can feel Merlin's pain and your imagery paints pictures in my mind. All of the characters seem very true to their characterization as well. Very well done, thank you for sharing this amazing work. |
SunBinamra chapter 1 . 5/17/2018 Nggg my heart! Gah, I hope they don't have to do this reincarnation cycle over and over again, that just wouldn't be fair to either of them, especially Merlin. But I love the way you set this up, and your characterization is on point. Bravo! |
victoriawinchester35 chapter 1 . 4/16/2016 made me cry it was so good |
Sandra Phillips chapter 1 . 8/5/2014 Well-written and enjoyable! Thanks |
Twilily chapter 1 . 4/22/2014 This is a great story. I wish it could continue. Nicely done. |
l Obliviate l chapter 1 . 4/13/2014 i think one of the reviewers called this 'precious'. that sums it up just right :) it's startling how you got everyone so in-character. i LOVED the description of Gwaine and the others- it had me laughing, because it was just like the good, old times :) that easy friendship they all had before it all erupted in flames. and it was so easy to make the transition to the modern world, placing them in flats and bars and Halloween parties. brilliant! "Messy black hair, pale skin, high cheekbones... He was good looking, in an off-kilter sort of way." i think that's the best description of Merlin i have ever read :D loved Merlin's stories, and your idea of making him a fantastic story-teller (you're one too :D). of course he would be. it was a great way of showing just how much he'd lived through, especially all the sad things. although, time machine- haha really? :D but seeing that Merlin lived in a time of magic (he still has it, right?) hm i'd have to say maybe that's not as crazy as it sounds :) and of course, their reactions to each other- Arthur with his strange feeling of recognition, and Merlin's subtle reactions to Arthur which hint at something that runs so much deeper. very well done! :) and the revelation at the end- that entire part is so perfect! this entire fic is, actually :) i'm so glad you've written this, thank you! i look forward to reading so much more by you :)) |
Nixcky chapter 1 . 1/8/2014 This was amazingly precious. |
EyesOfBlue1993 chapter 1 . 1/1/2014 I loved this so much! Your stories are always amazing! I would love to see more of this story... Even though it's a one shot! I can dream! :p Anyway, wonderful job as always! :D |
GoldenFireFish chapter 1 . 12/23/2013 Brilliant! |
Bailieboro chapter 1 . 12/23/2013 Your story really touched me. You built to the climax so carefully, slowly showing Arthur's increasing trust in this stranger. I found it very emotional, possibly because you allowed the reader to be way ahead of Arthur waiting, hoping for the moment to come when he would remember and then you pulled back refusing to let it happen. Just allowing us a peek at what the future might hold...the story was beautifully written. |
KmKizmet chapter 1 . 12/23/2013 I really really like this. You're coming out with really good stories. |
QueenofRhymes chapter 1 . 12/23/2013 Oh my God! This story was just amazing AGAIN! Sadness, pain yet there was hope in the end. You are incredible again. Every word used in such a right way and so, so beautiful... I may not be in tears but I am extremely happy that I got to read this story. It goves you that happy feeling you get around Christmas when you meet relatives and friends who you have not seen in a long time and this story is kind of the same(though it's not Christmas and Merlin has been waiting a lot more than I have). Anyway, just wanted to say that I love your story just like every single other written by you that I have read. And I want to wish a very Merry Christmas :D if such phrase exists - Very Merry Christmas. :D :)))) |
kweandee chapter 1 . 12/23/2013 Awwww...you should continue this :) |
animewelove chapter 1 . 12/23/2013 Oh my god! I loved it! So well put together, I could actually feel the emotions at the end. I started tearing up myself at the "Goddamn fucking loyal idiot." "Look at that! You're remembering me already." Again, loved it, story well done. :) |
