Great job!

Ha! Lmao, this was great. I liked how simple it was, since simplicity in stories is something I always utilize and has always been important to me, and I dig it's usage here. There wasn't anything huge or dramatic that wasn't appropriate, but instead a really honest interaction by two people who have no idea what they're doing. A very enjoyable, and dare I say "cute", story.

And that ending? Run, Takeru. Run!

I liked it. I thought the conversation was in character and everything was concluded pretty well for the three chapter length. The part with Daisuke telling Taichi was really funny!
Your writing style is really smooth and everything flows really well

That was a nice way to end the story with Taichi going after Takeru when he found out about him and Hikari. It's good that Takeru and Hikari finally gave in to their feelings for one another and are willing to move their relationship beyond friendship. Good effort and well done :D

Funny!

Just the first couple of lines sufficed to show that this chapter would be really good. The short, awkward beginning of the talk between Takeru and Hikari was hilarious, yet the followed small exchange of... Well, 'opinions' was even better! The next part of the talk was definitely my favourite part of this whole chapter. You got both Takeru and Hikari perfectly IC, in particular when I consider how anxious they were because of a possible break-up.
Although I honestly don't think that Taichi would overreact in such a way, I still enjoyed to read his reaction after Davis' message. (That's just my personal opinion. I still think that Taichi is protective in terms of his sister, but I don't think that he'd be such possesive, like trying to kill every single boyfriend of Hikari.)
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed your fic and I hope that you'll write more of them soon!

I hope that you'll make a side story after this. You should make it clearly about how they do their kiss after this incident.
This happened (again), I'm just planning to sleep (midnight in my country) and you update this story. I decided to delay my sleep haha never mind means that I was curious with this story :D

Aw, I know Daisuke (or Davis lol) didn't mean it. Though I'm imagining some Takari wedding or their children hearing a story of what got them together lol. "So, one day we went to the beach and your uncle Daisuke and V-mon caused your mom to fall on me and we ended up kissing..." and all that stuff lol.
I think the "I don't want to ruin our friendship" aspect is extremely believable. I remember seeing it a couple times, but I honestly feel it's true in the canon. If only Hikari knew Takeru likes her just as much.
Both really do need to talk hopefully then they can settle things and possibly let the other know the feeling is mutual.

It's been a while since I read a Takari fanfiction.

Everything, I thought, flowed pretty well. :) I like how you described the kiss and how Takeru (Not gonna lie, I think of TK because I grew up with the English dub) was feeling during the entire kiss.

The Japanese call it soccer? Really? Talk about an eye opener that actually kind of blows my mind.

Anyways, I see that this is one of those classic "don't want to ruin the friendship" plots that are common in Takari stories, but yet oddly enough have never actually lost their charm, at least not to me. I don't remember how long you wanted this to be, but I can appreciate how everyone is handling the situation, knowing that the incidence was an accident and not really anyone's fault. It's a nice change really, and im prepared to watch this fable be told.

It's good to see that Hikari and Takeru are aware of their feelings for one another and are willing to talk about it with others. Now all they need to do is confess those feelings to each other. They need to do it to stop the awkwardness between them after the accidental kiss. I'm looking forward to the Takari moments in the next chapter.

It's nice to see how much attention you paied on the whole football/soccer discussion.
In general the characters are pretty IC. That's why I always enjoy to read this story.
