I just finished reading your story, and I have to say... great job!

I'll have to admit that I don't watch MLP (though I am passingly familiar with it), but I'm a huge fan of the Zelda series. That being said, I really enjoyed your story and I loved how you handled your characters. You made the idea of TLoZ crossing over with MLP not only palatable but also entertaining!

Lots of things in this story seemed very natural and well done. However, I found that some parts where elements of MLP and TLoZ met seemed a bit forced- the example that springs to mind was the confrontation with Volvagia in chapter 6 that involved Fluttershy scolding and basically taming "the Bane of the Gorons" so easily. I don't know why, but although the scene is cute and sort of humorous, I still found it a bit jarring and I would almost consider it a cop out of a potentially interesting boss battle. Nevertheless I guess that sort of stuff just comes with the territory of MLP, so I can let it slide.

I also noticed quite a few references to Lord Of the Rings, which were greatly appreciated on my end as I love that franchise as well.

I love how you pack so much detail into every chapter and take the time to flesh out every character, setting, and plot thread- which is something that many authors struggle with.

Overall I can tell that you put a lot of thought and effort into this story, and I have to say that I enjoyed reading pretty much all of it from beginning to end! I can definitely see myself returning to this one sometime in the future.

All in all, great job!

It's been a while since my last review, so I'm going to try to make it up to you with some nice, lengthy reviews now.
To start, I love how this chapter started off with Rainbow's dream. It was a perfect dream for her, and honestly I started reading and nearly forgot she was even having a dream, that is, until she happened to scare Fluttershy to actual death. And then Daring walked in right as Rainbow was crying in her sleep! It's actually super well thought out, because Daring has finally accepted that she's been an awful absent mother and wants to finally get back on track and try to mend the bond she's been missing with her daughter, and now Rainbow is crying and it's such an opportune moment for Daring to show motherly love and comfort her distressed child. But then, when Daring told Rainbow she was her mother, YOU CUT TO ANOTHER SCENE! Ahh the suspense was killing me up until that point!
Though the scene it cut to was actually much more interesting. Luna vs Dethl is like, the best thing ever, seriously. I love their dialogue. And then... Oh god Dethl you asshole you actually killed Pipsqieak of all ponies, and then 12 other innocent foals in total! You evilly perfect writer...! I can't believe it. I mean, wow. That was unexpected and was a very good way to show Luna that he really is more powerful than she is.
Then when the Rainbow and Daring scene returned it was the most perfect thing I could have imagined. I can't wait for their relationship to develop even further as the story progresses.
I'm really excited that you brought in Twinrova! And the last sentence of this chapter was so perfect haha XD I was worried Applejack wouldn't like Daring, but I'm glad that's not the case. Also, Ahuizotl as Rainbow's stepdad is just something I can't unimagine...

Now, this was a good story, and the ending was just fantastic!

I definitively liked this season more than the first though, mostly because there was now a more grounded plot and the pony characters were allowed to be more badass. This final confrontation between the Mane Six and Demise surpassed my expectations quite a bit, and it all went brilliantly!

Still, I loved most of the characters featured here. The villains, the tag-along gang the heroes gathered, and more. My only complaint about the characters though is that Discord felt very much like he got the short end of the stick most of the time.

Oh, and by the way, I hope you won't mind if I may have put a small shout-out to your story in one of mine when my version of Vaati makes an off-hand mention of retiring to a fantasy-land filled with cute little ponies.

Wow, what a climax. The Elements have been retrieved, Ganondorf has been freed, Demise has been destroyed, the monster races are free from his curse, and everyone who died in the battle of The Crystal Empire has been restored to life. Truly, an unexpectedly happier ending could we ever ask for?

Of course, there are still some unhappy things to consider. For one, the victims of Dethl are still dead. For another, there's still the little problem of MAJORA. I read that preparations for his return would take several years... does this mean that there's gonna be a time skip between this season and the last one? How long will it take? I guess all I can do is wait for that.

Of course, I feel I should say this. I thought that whole everypony-killed-in-the-attack-on-the-crystal-empire thing was kind of a cop out.

You know, I also feel I should voice to you another idea that I had about this. I recall Majora's plan to tell all of Equestria something that he thinks is certain to turn all of Equestria against the Princesses and see them publicly executed. Vaati knows a lot about Majora. He said so himself that Majora would stop at nothing to turn all of Equestria against them and have them struck down for all to see. Do you think he would anticipate that? Perhaps he could tell the princesses that they should "air their dirty laundry, before Majora does". By which I mean he should have the princesses devulge their darkest secrets to Equestria. That way, Majora's plan will be hurt, since the public already knows, and they won't be quite as hurt when Majora tells them.

One last idea that I had was in regards to the ending. I had a couple of ideas for what will happen once Majora's been destroyed, and what will happen to individual characters once all is said and done. However, I will only voice them if you want to hear them. This is your story. What you say goes, not me. You don't have to do any of this just because I told you it. I just wanted to voice all these ideas to you.

Anyway, all I can do now is wait for the final chapter. I imagine much will change in the time between now and the next season. Only one way to find out what it all is.
