Please tell me you havent discontinued this fic! It entranced me from the start and only got better. I have to say I enjoy third person better than first. Saying this, I must admit that your story is better than the actual crown/court/ duel itself. Please continue writing. I would live to read on.

Ooh, I'm enjoying this! Your AU premise is pretty interesting, and you follow through on that with great alternate character development (seeing court-Russav and court-Vidanric and the masks they wear, not from Mel's limited POV was really enjoyable!) and worldbuilding - you really captured that feeling that Crown Duel had (basically, you've got Mel's stubbornness and impetuousness down to a T!) Very much looking forward to seeing where you take this :)

How beautiful! Eek I can hardly stand it. I love the way the dialogue flows seemlessly and lyrically between characters. Your writing is almost poetic - whether that is purposeful or no, it makes it incredibly pleasant to read. One thing that made me fall in love with Smith's writing is her detailed yet subtle descriptions and YOU have mastered that same art. One million points to you and Gryffindor. I can't get over the storyline you've created! and am itching for the back story. Every so often you make reference to past events and I just want to know more! My only complaint is that there isn't more for me to read...I realize brilliance takes time...but whatever would insentivate you? (Beta?) I send your way virtually!

Yikes! What an ending! It's been a long time but I'm hoping you'll update. I really want to see what direction you'll be taking with this. I love a good AU and this one is promising.
