I really like this, especially with the smooth transitions like how in the first chapter Harry fell backwards and it was Tom who stabilized him. And later when they did a ritual their magic complimented each other's. And then when Harry vanished to the future, Tom was the one to call him back. And their friendship! Yes I came for the slash lol but it's very nice how much they mean to the other heh

Amazing! Some of the chapters are short bit the story is still wonderful! I love how you had Harry hesitate when dealing with dark magic. I also like how you made Tom. He isn't outrught friends with Harry, it takes time.

This has been very interesting. A different sort of take on the time-traveling Harry story. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Yay I love time travel stories! Especially Harry going to school with Tom. When Harry doesn't go randomly evil and Tom isn't suddenly rainbows and bunnies, I never get tired of reading stories about those two. I'm fascinated by your idea of dark magic ad being almost something more like receptive magic. That it isn't necessarily dark, just different which is exactly the kind of stereotypes that exist in canon. I'm excited to see where you go from here!

I seriously love this! I think this is the first Harry time travel fic where he time travels at a young, impressionable age, but is still old enough to know about Voldemort and Hogwarts. I like how you present Dark Magic, and how Harry is a Dark Wizard, but still in character, still Harry. I loved the sorting scene, where he wasn't called up. It was a new twist on things! I also like how everyone knows he time travled- there's only one other story I know of that does that. I love their friendship! Does Voldemort know that his younger self is friends with Harry? I like how the future didnt just drop off the face of the Earth, and you still show snipits of what's going on there. How will
Harry being there affect everything? Why hasnt it yet? Update soon please!

Oh Tom " I hope they grow up to have sweet wizard-to-wizard love, and the Dark Lord has an understanding of what positive emotions feel like. I hope he's finally found one person who will never abandon him.
And Harry better figure out a way to clean off the Dark magic clinging to him. If Dorea can see that, why can't Dumbles?
Anyways, please keep updating! I definitely haven't seen a lot of fics about that time when charismatic, beautiful Tom Riddle was an awkward and ostracised child. Poor baby /; I'm glad he has Harry. I'm curious about what's in that book, too

Sorry, to bother you again, but I just wondered will there be an actual explanation to the rituals that Tom and Harry performed? Especially, the one they did on Tom's birthday- with the whole, "If you want" thing going around...just seems a bit shifty. I mean it IS Tom!
Also, loved that interlude with Orion asking his mom for a story and the story she said itself. Wow. I'm seriously hooked to your story,aren't I? :) :)

Found this story quite by accident and may I just say- it's brilliant.
Harry, is still the same loving chap who'd do anything for his friend, including denying a possible family, enen though that's all he ever wanted all his life! I think the thought of Harry becoming dark possibly scares me in a weird way- cause many authors overdo the entire thing and soon you find Harry killing and torturing random people just for the hell of it. Well, kudos to you for keeping the canon!Harry alive.
I know you've only ever covered rituals but hopefully if Tom tries out something more...let's just say "exciting" then Harry will disagree with him. Can't wait for those confrontations.
It would be sort of nice if Harry socialized with students from other houses too. Bet Tom would be terribly jealous;)
I felt horrible when the other slytherins did that to Tom -the entire Mudblood fiasco... And how he simply snapped at Harry. Poor lad.
Orion seems an interesting enough character, and makes you wonder about the entire accidental magic what that was about? Hints? *Wink*
The entire Potter family meeting though, very very omnious. Although, imagining Harry fidgeting with his collar while trying to drink soup quietly at the table gave me a laugh.

A short chapter, but a great pick-me-up from the last chapter and those dreadful light wizards.

Doreea makes me a little uncomfortable. I forget sometimes what it means that she was originally from the Black line.

This is a pretty amazing story. Very fluent writing, unique approach on the time-travelling Harry, and everyone canon is perfectly in character :) I'm loving it so far, and I'm very, very intrigued to see what happens next.
