My goodness this story has been a wild ride.
I've never seen anyone else with an Orc as a main character before, thats what really caught my attention with this work. I am really impressed with how well this story was written! I am actually really glad that Kili/Tauriel wasnt a really big thing. I dont hate the ship but I feel it did take away a bit from Tauriel's character in the movies.
Im really hoping that Tauriel does manage to catch up with Ithilde and her group and that she isnt to proud to apologize for her past actions. I feel that part of what broke the friendship they had was Legolas and Thranduil nigh constantly talking about how Orc's are inherently evil and cant be trusted, ect. Tauriel let her doubts and fear cloud her judgement instead of hearing Ithilde out and remembering that she was one of the people who helped raise her, she should have had faith in that. They had a really strong friendship before and with some work I think they could possibly get close to that point again. But only if Tauriel is willing to accept that she screwed up, big time. She broke the trust that she had and she will have to work hard to earn it back.

Another thing I'm hoping for is that Ithilde does go to visit Bilbo sometime. It is nothing short amusing imagining her around in his house. Gandalf thought he had problems with his size lol, Ithilde is massive! Plus it would please her to know that Thalias has found a safe new home where she will be well taken care of and loved.
(I catually kind of shipped Ithilde and Thalias right up until Thalias said she thought her as the daughter she never had. Now I have Thalias and Bilbo and they are so sweet together. I adore them! )
I would love to read more of this soon but you're probably busy with life stuff right now so I will wait patiently. And spam all my friends telling them to read it too.

I just watched lord of the rings for the hundredth time and i can totally imagine Aza and her faction getting involved. i completely pictured her attending the council meeting in rivendell and volunteering to go along with them.
We miss you, please create a sequel.

Honest to god I'm going to start out by saying I want to cry. This is so well written and I'm extremely happy that someone wrote from the 'villains' side of things because people often forget that evil usually isn't just pure evil. There is always something that has influenced the evil and I'm so very attached to your story. It's amazing and heart breaking and mind blowing. And I now just want Ithildae to be happy. She deserves it after all she's gonna through. Everyone in middle earth deserves happiness. But like our world they can never seem to see past differences. But good job, can't wait to see how you end it.

Yo yo yooooo, this is so good I love it so much. This story has stuck with me and refused to leave my brain, I enjoy it so much and I love Ithi/Aza and lowkey screw Dain and co.

Also so glad Fili got to live, I love fix-it fics but this is even more great because it really feels reasonable that he'd survive.

Also I ADORE Tilda, she is literally the heart and soul of the story once we reach Laketown and I'm always so glad when we get to see her in action tons and tons in fic.

I ship Ith and Kalus so hard, I'm so excited to see how they settle out in the next few chapters, I can't hardly express how excited I am for this entire fic and it resolving and ALL OF IT. Thank you thank you thank you, this is so great, I'm so impressed you've powered through for 3 years and started such an awesome fic when you were 14?! Like! Gosh I can't even imagine. This is so epic and awesome, thank you, I feel like a broken record but really, thank you for taking the time and effort and sharing this with us.
