LoL the last line is describing the doctor down to a T: even in his slightly insane moments he is (in a way) still thinking rational and calm... because, let's face it, leaping headfirst into unknown and dangerous situations like the doctor usually does just because he's bored is not what most people would call sane. In fact, it seems to me every new doctor gets a bit worse with psychological issues (PTSD, Depressions, survivors guilt, etc.), not that this is surprising. In fact it makes me like him because he feels like a living being and not like a perfect TV hero.

Good story, interesting twist with the whole beast thing. Thanks for taking the time to write the story.

Pretty good story thus far but I do have one issue.

For a game having only having a three person team is reasonable for a game mechanic. But doing so in a story makes no sense at all; you would not leave 3/4th of your ground team on the ship for no reason, maybe three or four if you were worried about the ship being boarded.

Sorry but I just find it kind of distracting thinking about how at a minimum right now Jack, Miranda, Mordin, Samara, Tali, Thane, and Zaeed are just sitting in their rooms while part of their team is boarding a tough enemy ship. I did not include Jacob since you left room for him to be kind of suspended right now.

... Teensy bit disappointed. Was expecting more of a blow out.

Really really hoping that he wins the coming argument.

Doctor is a lot less... bubbly than I remember.

Like the dinner scene a lot. Keep up the good work.

Very well done chapter. Read like an episode of CSI.
