This was recommended at the beginning of another fic over on AO3 (by performativezippers) and so I moseyed on over to check it out and I was not disappointed! This was a great fic! I loved how you built up the relationships between all the characters, and Maddie is so sweet! I know next to nothing about Rizzoli and Isles cannon, but was still able to follow this fic. Thanks for sharing it!

Loved this story! The only bad thing about it is that it is way, way, way, too short! I wanted it to go on forever :)

I don't know if I chastise myself for missing this back in the day or if I'm glad that YEARS LATER I can still find things that put me right back into my R&I feelings. This is brilliant! Bravo!

this story is so freaking amazing holy crap! I absolutely LOVE THIS! oh gosh. okay. first, the way Maura didn't know how to handle the habits Maddie developed is totally accurate because honestly, who does know how to handle habits like that without knowing how they formed. but holy Frick tying that back in at the end with *Jane* being the one needing help to not reach up for the collar? freaking amazing symbolism. extremely well done with the analogy of Jane waiting for something to come out of no where and jerk her back and how she struggled to explain that to Olivia but because Maura was there as they taught Maddie, there as they helped her heal she knew the signs, knew the story and could help. for the record, even though I knew the part with Olivia would end with "you will break me", I think that was really well done. great job introducing the relationship, showing Jane try to figure out if she should or not, and showing how Olivia saw the signs of Jane still struggling but in the end wasn't able to help. gawd this is such an amazing story. thank you so much for writing and sharing this.

This is a really good story, I was absolutely stunned. Came to it because I found the story Attachement where it was referred and thought 'Why not?'. Honestly - had I not read this, I would have missed something precious!
