This fic was great, but also a little difficult. We Got to see EQ Regina before she put all this effort into redemption. We love the redeemed Regina and have come to love EQ Regina as well. But it was kinda weird to see her as a victim, more than the person who perpetrated so many crimes. I even wanted her to have a friendship with Ruby, but how weird would that be? Learning that a person you’re friendly with poisoned another friend who retaliated by trying to kill the woman who poisoned her? Plus, Regina never shared the truth with Ruby... that’s hella sketchy, even before finding out that she’s really the EQ. SonRegina really might have no one at this point, other than Emma... a den it’s all so twisted and messed up... I sill wanna read more though...

Well that was certainly intense.. Regina must’ve been an avid fisherman the EF because she’s doing a really skillful job of reeling Emma in while carefully working the line... she’s being so delicate and careful in how she treats Emma... I can’t wait to read the actual reveal...

That meeting went a lot better than expected.. it was intimate.. there was anger and sadness, and some acceptance, but not bitterness or resentment.. it was interesting and a great start for them...

I’m really liking Ruby more and more. She’s being a great friend to both Regina and Emma and she’s legit trying to help them both... and Henry... the curse is going to break at some point, but I’m really hoping their friendships don’t...

That was a pretty good confrontation... I think it ended at a really good point, leaving them both with a lot to think over..

Huh... Ruby is awesome. I really hope that they can become friends, without Regina betraying her trust.

I’m loving this Fic. Thanks for the warning, but that really was intense and violent. That was like a really Dark Emma. That also made me realize that we’ve never actually seen a really dark Emma until now. I felt sorry for Regina for about 5 seconds. But then again, she really did bring this on herself and she never made any attempt at amends... now, that Emma’s done something so terribly violent, I wonder what Henry will think of her and how she aligns with his fantasy world... her actions did not seem heroic at all...

Yeah, I don't like how Regina feels she was the only one seriously wronged. There wasn't even any major discussion of her apple turnover sleeping curse thing. Or was a brief mention of it during their last meeting it? This feels too much like one person putting all the blame on someone else, so no one focuses on the really messed up things they've done. I mean, Emma's still using a frickin cane! Regina helped mess up Emma's whole life! While Emma doesn't know this, Regina sure as hell does.

Okay, what Emma did was wrong. However, Regina has done many things that have hurt Emma too. Trying to curse her, separating her from her family, etc. While Regina says she realizes this, she still acts as if she is the only one wronged who needs to apologize. If someone had seemingly tried to kill me, I would kick their ass too, and not feel bad about it. I wouldn't try to murder them, but still. I like Ruby, but her friendship with Regina still kind of feels like betrayal to Emma.

Ha! I though I was the only person who said Cranky McCrankerson. Ruby is awesome. Emma seriously needed to be put in her place. Good chapter.

Yay for Ruby! Someone needed to stop Emma's pity party, I was starting to think her lake plan wasn't sounding too bad.

Everyone always says that Henry is mature for his age, I guess I just never see it. Realizing that his mom needed to be helped was definitely a step in the right direction, though.

I used to love reading Tamora Pierce! Even though Alanna ended up being w the prince, she still set aside social norms for women at the time. The "Hero and the Crown" and I think (?) "The Blue Sword", were also great. Its been at least several years but, good call back. I never read "Wild Magic", but now I'm considering it.
