Reviews for A Child's Guide to Gotham
Someone chapter 1 . 7/16/2014
I haven't finished this chapter yet but I just wanted to tell you that this is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best Arkham Asylum fic I have read on this entire site. It is hilarious and sweet and just so wonderful that I can't even syntax. You rock.

I love Harley and this story!

That was... Too perfect for words! My favourite part:
Anyway, they got back to the bridge, and they saw Scarecrow, still hanging onto that pole and just cursing himself blue in the face. Scarecrow's pretty good at cursing. You wouldn't think it, but those erudite types can get pretty creative when they want to.

"Aw, crap." Said Quinn, "It just doesn't feel right to leave him there, after all we've been through together…"

I nearly peed myself at the mental image! By the way thank you for making a nod to The Riddler and The Mad Hatter.
SarcasticallySatyrical chapter 2 . 4/5/2014
Nice. Entertaining read.

This was amazing! I hope you write more like it. Could you write a story explaining how the reader got in that situation where she was being told a story by Harley?

This is wonderful! A fully in-character, seamless, brilliant, exciting and hilarious rewrite of the classic. Exceptionally well written, too. As far as the writing goes, I can find nothing to criticise. However-as a single chapter of thirty-two thousand words, it's going to be daunting to many readers. That's a novella length work in and of itself. If you were to break it up into chapters and post them one at a time, one every day or two, I think your fic will get the attention and reviews it so richly deserves. I am waiting with bated breath to see what you will do next. Brava!
