It's really really good!

Ah, you should really have more faith in yourself! I think this was a very good chapter! I could really feel the emotions here, and I feel you portrayed China pretty well! At least to my headcanon of him I think it's also a pretty good representation of how he would be after the war... I imagined him burnt out and completely pessimistic and sinking into that zone where you just can't care anymore.

At the same time, I'm glad he is starting to pull himself out in the end. I like angst where there's still hope of happiness at the end, and you delivered very well! I also like your stream of consciousnesses-esque style. it really shows his rather disjointed reminiscing as well. XD

Wow, this is very sad but in a good way! It's so emotional, and I love the format of how it jumps around, but surrounds this one topic! I also loved the flashbacks to the past. Haha, Japan was really adorable, and China was just so nice... you could really see why they would love each other.

the betrayal scene really made me want to cry though, but I think you characterized them well! It fits with my headcanon of their characters anyways. I think too many fics have China as sniffling and whiny during this scene, and in my mind, considering Chinese history, China would probably be more calm and angry than just bawling. he would definitely feel sad though, but he probably wouldn't show it. And as for Japan, I really like how you showed the inner turmoil in his mind, and you see he hasn't turned into some psychopath, but he's just doing what he believes is right for his country. yet he's still struggling with the thought that this might not be right at all, and he doesn't want to hurt the one he loves. And you really feel the emotions he's going through, the confusion and sadness... ah, it's so sad, but in a good way!

The last part was really sad though, with the candy... I really hope somewhere along the line they might have a happy ending? hopefully you can update soon!

Three was cute. And I love NiChu. Its one of my favorite pairings.

You have a good start. I like how you described the thoughts and memories. What were the numbers for? Did shampoo exist over 1000 years ago? The "Bitter" part almost drove me to tears. It's sad to think that China and Japan loved each other, then Japan betrayed China.

This was brilliant and practically everything was portrayed accurately. You have a great writing style and after reading this I felt like I had just gone on a trip on the feels bus, if you know what I mean. Overall, I think you did a great job and hopefully you'll update soon!

This story is really good! I can never find any good japan x china stories, and this is the perfect mix of fluff and angst!
