Then I open this and it IS based on the Christmas Carol XD. Sweet! What I like most is that you set Voldemort as ghost of the future of all things! Now THAT I call creative! I was waiting for Sirius to pop up and have fun teasing Severus. But you made it better than this! |

| Carling chapter 1 . 12/11/2013 Ahhh, Grumpy Severus, so very dear to my heart. I can very much sympathize with his point of view, having married into the noisy, overbearingly and fecund real life version of the Weasley family myself. Alas, it is alway us quiet "loners" that get told the way we cope with holidays is "wrong" or "selfish" and we must be the ones to shove our feelings down, and go along with the acceptable version of holiday cheer. Haha, it might be interesting to see three ghosts visit Harry to show him why Severus is so hellbent on ignoring Christmas and being so jealous of Harry's devotion to the Weasleys. Sev's childhood sucked, too. His adulthood largely wasn't a picnic either. Maybe Sirius and Remus and James of all people could show Harry why just for once a quiet Christmas at home with just the two of them would mean so much to Sev. Or the ever adorable Tonks should visit with red and green hair. I do think Sev not agreeing to decorating for the holidays is over the top, though. I'm glad the ghosts did visit him. Harry and Sev kind of need to learn to compromise. I did love your choice of ghosts. They all worked so great. Loved Gred! |
