What a good read this was. I hope you go ahead with the rewrite you mention on your profile someday, or even just continue it as is. It's an interesting story and I enjoyed reading it.

As I mentioned before, Serana is from far before the time of Talos. Which is a pity as it would be pretty cool if she knew him. Unfortunately she was sealed away at least 3000 years before Talos' birth. Ahhh but it would be really cool.

I just realized that since Rasha is a cat, she probably would've been able to locate Mercer while his was invisible without much difficulty using her hearing. Cats have rather excellent hearing after all.

Honestly, my only "issue" I have is what seems to be incredibly fast pacing. The quests are all happening very quickly and at the same time, and the travelling happens very fast too. I realize that the game world isn't that big, but it's nice when they're some added realism with the amount of time it takes to get to places. From Whiterun to High Hrothgar feels like it should be a week if not more.

But other than what feels to me like everything happening way too quickly, I don't have much to say. The dialogue and characterization is very good and immersive. Nice work yo!

Considering his age and power and stuff, I always thought Movarth should've been way more powerful. He was able to kill Volkihar vampires as a mortal after all. He was a bit stronger here, but I still feel like lore-wise he should've been able to sweep the floor with them. At least until the Dragonborn is significantly more powerful.

Ah well.

I have to admit, this is turning out to be a pretty decent story so far. I can't say anything for sure at this stage, but I think I'll end up really enjoying this.

Also, kudos on the neutrality of your writing. It can sometimes be quite easy to determine the sex of a writer (usually when they're amateur writers), however I couldn't find any signals of such in this story. I'm also glad to see how you approached Judiiz's recent past. I've seen plenty of stories that throw the word "rape" around at the start of a story, and then keep throwing it around lightly. While I usually avoid stories that deal with that subject at all, you're handling it alright so far (something that I find somewhat rare in male writers, unfortunately).

I'm curious if you're going to add a more beneficial bonus to taking dragon souls. The canon version of just unlocking new shouts is rather boring, but some fanfics that write in super strength are a bit too much. I feel as though you're going to focus on more mental benefits? Maybe stuff like increased assertiveness, mental stability, stubborn, and just overall mental strength? It's an interesting idea, I think...

I'm also really happy to see Rasha's character introduced. For a second, I thought it was a previous speaker for the black brotherhood, but nope, apparently an OC. And surprisingly, an OC that I've quickly grown attached to. Sure, she's on the border of a Mary Sue at this point and was introduced in a kind of deus-ex-machina style, but I feel like she'll be a good friend.

Hoping that the genre isn't lying, and that this doesn't involve romantic pairings. It's really not the type of story for that, and I think you're a better writer without it.
