Aww, what a sweet ending. I loved it. I figured Hiccup's depression had something to do with his mom (I'm really starting to hate Valka now - Y U LEAVE HIM ALONE WITH NO MOMMY?). But I liked that a Hiccstrid conversation was of course the way to alleviate some of his sadness. The flashbacks to the preparations for the prank were hilarious, especially the last one with the twins. And I loved the random traditions you made up LOL. If I still remember them next year I might actually borrow that bit of your canon for a Snoggletog fic :P

Oh, and the kissing bit. Lmao Ruffnut kissing Fishlegs without hesitation and Hiccup counting how long Astrid kissed him. So typical of their characters. And I LOVED that Ruffnut made the Hiccstrid/Ast-cup joke hahaha.

Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this, however silly it was. It made me grin and that is definitely a good thing. :)

Aw, poor Hiccup. Of course it would've been Astrid's idea, judging by how festive she got in "Gift of the Night Fury." Honestly, I wasn't expecting Hiccup to get that upset, but I guess there is something he's hiding that would make him react that way. So...I suppose I should read the last chapter! Onward!
