I really enjoyed the story. For a moment I have feared Sam would really have cut off his foot. Im glad the story took a twist. But you definitely kept the supense. Well written.

Phew! I need a moment - that was intense! I honestly thought that Sam had cut off his foot so it was a relief to find out he hadn't and Dean has come to the rescue. He has a sixth sense for when his little bro is in trouble. And John being the one needing rescuing was a nice change - and that Sam would be willing to go so far in order to save someone who he constantly butts heads with... ah, Sammy.

Great job! Love those old Westerns and you invoked the feel of those very well in this story.

Second time around (because I couldn't resist) and this is still awesome!

What really stands out is that I 100% believed that Sam had amputated his foot. You created such a tense and edge of seat atmosphere, that it felt completely true and couple that with how much you adore anything orthopaedic, and I was sold. So the twist in the tale was perfection.

Maybe you should write an alternative version where Sam does amputate his foot? Cause I'd love to read that too...just saying ;)

Loved, loved LOVED this. I was literally on the edge of my seat going, no no no no and then Dean pipped up and I was like, ok Sam's still got four limbs out of four. I would sure LOVE it if you extended this, wrote John's point of view, Dean's and Sam recovery. I'd love to hear what injuries John sustained and what he says to Sam when he is able as well as Dean's side of the story when he figures something's off and comes looking for his family. Please PLEASE? Either way a great, very well done and entertaining read. Loved all of it! Nicole. :)
