The worst thing about a story this big is thinking there's no way you'll can catch up before it gets finished, then you catch up , so far this is a great story, I hope you continue it, a few things I didn't like, mostly the Draco stuff, seems a bit silly to me but I understand that was wrote before da:I when no-one knew what was gunna happen, conri is a particular favourite of mine, don't know why he gets so much hate from other reviews but to each their own I suppose

Impressive ! Just went through the whole story in one go and you had me hooked from 1st this last chapter (hopefully not the last one). I liked the additions you made to the game and how well you integrated them.

So... out of curiosity, when is the next update?

There is a lot that I like about this story. I liked the creativity in enhancing the origin stories. There were other aspects that were just as well done.

However, there were things that I didn't like. I felt that there were just too many characters, a problem made worse because the names were changed for many of the origin characters. It took me quite a while to finally remember, on an unconscious level, who everyone was without having to think so much. I also didn't like 2 Couslands being grey wardens. Since they didn't know if Fergus survived, it just didn't make sense to me that the girl would join since she was effectively Terna.

Finally, I saw a couple of paragraphs that seemed to be virtual copies of text I've read in other stories.

Old fart veteran of the site here, and obviously my first review of the story. Wall of text inbound, so sorry. :)

IM-PRESSIVE! One of the most annoying parts I felt in DA:O was how you would 'hear' about the other origins happening, but that was it. Incorporating all of these different ones is a monumental undertaking, and for the most part, I see you've been handling it well.

I have no problems with the cuts and everything you've been doing for the missions, though I didn't find the Alienage that bad...not like the Fade or the Deep Roads, anyway. Regardless, you do a good job of exposition and throw in enough action/dialogue to prevent eye glazing, so again; well done.

Quite fortunate as well that you posted this chapter when you did...I was starting to worry that despite your statements to the contrary, you actually HAD given up on this or forgotten about it or whatever. But a struggle like this? Perfectly understandable, and glad you've surpassed it.

Anyway, wanted to provide encouragement at last, and look forward to the rest of this. I suspect I know what's planned for the last 'single' person, but I'll see what comes around. Good writing!

Not gonna lie, I really dislike Conri. Sorry about that, but I think he's an arrogant hypocrite who seems to love brutally murdering people and then acts like he's a moral paragon. A lot of this feels very black and white in terms of who is good and bad and really kind of loses a lot of the nuance of Dragon Age, and a part of that comes from Conri's (and some of the others) intense reactions to everything. There's good stuff in here but the characters can feel like their settings are 'playful banter' and '"righteous" anger' which, after a while, starts to lose them a lot of sympathy.

Okay, I just binge read your entire story and, Wow. That's pretty much all I can think to say as I have finally found a story that, while a bit gloomy at times, doesn't stick to it.

First, I want to comment on Conri-I love him. I'm glad to finally see a main character who, not only is pure badass, but doesn't let people get away with their shit and calls them out on it. I mean, first you have Duncan, and yes I understand the urgency of the approaching blight and everything but just because he's willing to give away everything to join the Warden doesn't mean everyone else is. Then you have Alistair who, while is one of my favorite characters, comes across as a jackass plenty of times that I wanted to call him out on. I mean, he sparked the rivalry with Morrigan by instantly assuming she was Chasind, then judging her of being an Apostate, then whining constantly unless you harden him. Then let's not forget the old hag, Wynne. Ooh, maybe I better not as I'd be ranting on and on. All I'll say is considering she gave her child away to remain in the Circle, or at least rumored to, she shut the hell up.

Moving on, I also like Xolana as she provides comic relief as well as the most rounded understanding person of this merry group of misfits. The role that the Warden is expected to play which I always thought of as dumb as I would have liked them to take a more militaristic role. Anyway, I loved when you had her meet the Hawke family as I'm still hoping my Amell one day meets my Hawke and Bethany(Never could get too far with the Mage aspect as Carver annoyed the hell out of me), and I hope you one day create a story to show how their lives happened in Kirkwall, especially since you have both man and woman Hawke versions running around. PS, wouldn't you have Garrett be the twin of Marian instead of the kid brother? Though I guess that matters little.

Lastly, I think I know why some complain about Conri, I think they hate that he isn't afraid to ruffle feathers as the saying goes. As I said earlier, he isn't afraid of confrontation or to call someone out. When I read about him, I see the guy in the trailers that as soon as he got to Ostagar, he's a hardened warrior just as Duncan wanted him to be. They see their Warden who, more than likely, was a passive saint that did what others asked of them with a smile on their faces and happy personality. Conri, is a part of small group of aggressive Wardens that, even if they help, will point out your flaws while doing so and not letting pompous-self righteous pricks get away with their shit...

So yeah, as I said, great story and I can't wait for the next chapter.

Dude! You're alive! Oh God! Thank you! The chapter was nice as usual, the build up to the Howe scene is good although leaving it as a cliffhanger is kind of haha well that's for the reader. I see you've changed up some things, and that's nice, I hope Riordan can play a more major role here than in vanilla Dragon Age Origins, I never could understand why he did what he did instead of operating with the Warden's party, but I guess we can just chalk that up to him nearing his calling. Anyhow, great chapter, hope you're feeling better dude, your writing is something i immensely enjoy. Keep at it! We'll be waiting for your next chapter! )

Love the story love the song tribute and I'm just saying If Conri some how convinced Anora to join his budding ...ahem harem that would extremely hilarious and quite amusing to see happen love the story can't wait to see what happens next please don't abandon this story

For future chapters, please put in breaks between different sections of the story to better keep track of the story. Otherwise good job and congratulates in making the few good Dragon Age stories out there.
