Wow, I have to say, to churn out a story of this length while going to Med school is quite an accomplishment! In light of what has happened to Shikaku it looks like you had the foresight to name the next generation of Nara after him.

I enjoyed how this story was like a window into an every day moment in the life of Shikamaru and Temari. The characterizations of the kids and their relationship was lots of fun to read about.

If I may ask, I was wondering what was meant when Shikamaru introduced shogi to Temari. Was it on their first date? It's late now so maybe I'll just have to let my overworked eyes rest and re-read.

Referencing to common character traits as displayed in the past anime and updating them to reflect the parental nature and established married life they have together now was very well linked. Thanks for sharing.
