I like stories with the Blacks. And it's good that Harry is standing up for himself, even though he's blatantly abusing his power and I cannot say that taking someone's free will is okay when the victims are assholes. Being an asshole just doesn't mean that someone deserves as much harm as we'd like for them to suffer.

Thankfully it's not remotely a focus of the chapter or story, but I see it so often and it's so unimaginably ignorant (willfully, given the resources of information we have now) that I just have to say something about it:

Slowly killing the planet? What is with people thinking we live on a heavy populated world or something? Do you think this is Coruscant? We're not killing the planet, we aren't even making a dent in it. That is without considering the enormous swaths of the planet that are under environmental protection even in tinpot tyrannies. The vegetation isn't dying out, the animals aren't being destroyed or whatever. Just look at the window. And if you live in a heavily urban city (I feel sorry for your lack of greenery), it's not representative of most places and is the extreme exception, not the norm. Almost the entire planet remains uninhabited and that's without considering the ocean. Is it the global warming nonsense? 'Cus that's completely natural on a cycle and we're on time for it. And even if global warming happened worse or more rapidly due to humans, it's honestly not a big deal. It's not going to turn us into Venus or something. Reminds me of people fearing that melting of the polar ice caps would flood the planet (the ice caps are actually growing, by the way, not melting) even though a child has likely learned ice floating in liquid does not increase the volume of the liquid when it melts.

Ugh, it's like those Naruto crossovers with him doing his sage mode and being all "oh noes the natural energy of the planet is almost gone!"

And even if it's us, the answer is obviously nuclear power. People have some weird belief it produces nuclear waste like real life is some kind of a comic book. Depleted Uranium is exactly that, depleted. And of course they are right that the steam is radioactive...for a short time. It's clean by the time it's spread out too much to be seen with the naked eye.

Oh, and holes in the ozone layer healed naturally (and they were over the polar areas so that was already clearly not related to human activity).
